Yes, it will. I bought it for my 6 year old nephew, and its big on him, he has it as small as it can possible go. But It does expand a lot. i'm 32 years old 5'7 and 130 pounds and it fits me. Its really well made, my nephew wears it every day.

It should. My son is 4' 8" tall and weighs 72 lbs and there is a lot of room to expand the vest for him. I would think it would fit.
