High quality manufacture
This was purchased to replace a 3/8 inch wrench that had given 20+ years loyal service. SATA is not a brand I had seen or used before but this was purchased as a generic wrench for daily use. It performs well and the close gear teeth makes it effective for confined spaces. Also the lever are is just a bit longer than all of my other small wrenches. Positive feel, great finish, ergonomically very good, great manufacture and design. My only minor criticism is that it does not have a quick release button for quick changeover of sockets, which is an oversight in my selection. Otherwise the wrench is well made, good value and an improvement on older wrench designs in terms of its close gearing and positive feel.

Excellent quality for the price.
Good heavy feel in the hand, narrow and low-profile head for tight spots, the ratchet mechanism feels very smooth and fine, and it's life time warrantee from the manufacturer. Really great little wrench.

Love these ratchets!
Well made like the overpriced brand (initials S.O) but priced so that plebs like me can afford them lol.Get a set, you won’t regret it. My Halfords Advanced ratchets are now second fiddle to these bad boys. Sooo nice for the money!

Smooth motion
Nice, smooth motion on the ratchet. It feels good in the hand and after using it a few times I've put some force on it and it hasn't slipped.

Really happy with these. Very nice to use, seems very robust and at the price very good value.

Looks quality
The insanity of the Californias product tags, where I'm going die from cancer for buying this. Because steel has nickel in it. Looneys! Products great, beautifully finished at a tenth of the price of snap on.

Great in a tight space
I have used halfords professional for over 15years, but my 3/8 was giving up, and my fitting role has changed to more challenging machines, with tighter access so I was looking for a new ratchet with smaller tooth count, Snap-on prices are crazy, but you do get something special. That said, stumbled on to this one, for the price it was worth a shot I felt.It is quite something as well, I've been using it a while now, it's silky smooth, the 3 degree before next bite is exactly what I was after.I wasn't sure if I could load it up like a 72 tooth, and to be honest, not sure I have put as much on it as I did with my old halfords one. But for those hard to reach spots, that JCB like to provide me its been great and I find myself reaching for it every day, such a nice ratchet.I do miss the quick release, but it also keeps the ratchet head smaller so the trade off isn't bad and the spring ball holds the socket with enough tension. The low profile select switch is not as easy to accidentally knock it the other way which is good.In all, I like it.

Quality feel and appearance
Really nice action, no problems with the mechanism skipping or locking up.Price varies so much, this is a fantastic deal at $50, a middle of the road (like you can get local warrantied for the price) deal and at the $117 it is sometimes is a pass. They do say warrantied but no idea how to use it if I needed to.Chrome quality is perfect, and the micro sweep angle is just so nice

Nice fine tooth ratchet
It is a fine tooth ratchet. Very narrow swing arc. I would not put too much force/torque on this ratchet with the fine teeth. The head is reasonably small to allow access in tight spots. This is really a tool for limited access fasteners more than an 'everyday' type ratchet. The handle and feel is similar to many other 3/8 ratchets - comfortable to use. Overall a nice high tooth count ratchet for and affordable price that is a nice addition to the toolbox. Have not had it long enough to comment on the durability - had held up so far.
