I like everything about this, it does seem lightweight which is good. however the tang on top of the clamp which I use to hold drivers license’s, when writing tickets, is not as good as others I’ve used. It can be bent to hold tighter but won’t stay tight long.

Good clipboard. I’m a truck driver and those plastic clipboards don’t last a week with me. Got this to replace my last aluminum clipboard that served me well for about 7 years.This works well and is durable enough... just 2 issues. The gauge is a little light so I’m not sure it will last as long as my last one, and the clasp mechanism for the document compartment is not as good as my old one.One major bonus is that this is made in the USA from recycled aluminum... so if it lasts half as long as my old one I have no problem buying a new one.

It's ok, but if I had held it in my hands before ordering, I wouldn't have purchased it. The edges are a bit sharp to the touch, which means I'll always have to be careful with it unless I'm wearing gloves. A pen will slide right out of the the side of the inside compartment, so I have to keep my pen in the top clip like you would in a typical clipboard. It keeps papers from flying away, and the writing surface is decent, but it's just not designed well enough for me.

Works great for what I use it for. It gets dropped and thrown around quite a bit and holds up. I do wish I could put a full size pad of paper under the clip and still open the cover.

This is my 4th Saunders document holder in 20 years. I have various models and they all hold up great. Including this one which I've used for a few months no. The color hasn't faded or chipped. Great quality.

The lightweight feature of this comes at a cost. I've owned other metal storage clipboard type products and this is the lightest and seemingly cheapest made one out of the bunch. I like the black subdued appearance and didn't want the excessive amount of storage that some offer, however, this product doesn't strike a good balance with this as it's too thin. I'm far more concerned about the durability of this since I'm not sitting around in a cubicle so time will tell. I've only had it a short period of time so I'll provide an update in a month or two but my initial reaction is that I'm not impressed.

Bought it used and surprised by how new it looked. Sleek, light and sturdy. Well designed but no room for gadgets. Enough room for papers, paper clips, pens etc. Great for estimates, note taking, students etc. Great buy and should look last awhile.

I bought this little guy for work. I thought it was the satin black textured style. I was wrong. It’s smooth, shiny and almost has a glittery finish. As far as function goes it is fine. Just a little disappointed in the aesthetics. I ended up keeping it and it is sitting in my garage collecting dust.
