Race - Gas. Does it really work? What results am I expecting?
I used to buy and mix 106 and 109 with 93. 5 gallon minimum at a cost of $65-$80. One day the guy at the track refused to pour the gas in, told me to do it my self. Well...I've never had gas on my hands till that day. I asked a friend, a real racer, to give me a hand. We borrowed a funnel and took a good 5 minutes while pouring gas in, on the ground, a bit on my wheels.Swore I'm not going through that again, then the same friend told me about these octane boosters so I ordered one to try for my self.I drive a 2015 Ford Edge Sport or "the grocery getter". Before you giggle too much, it's tuned and making around 450hp.Either way, stock these cars go around 14.2 in the quarter, I added half a bottle to what I thought was 20-25% 93 in my tank.My first run was 13.6 @ 100mph, I was not impressed, I did drive the car like a drunk for a bit to mix the fuel in.My second run was a 13.3 @ 103mph and I declared that "VTEC has kicked in, yo"At the end of the night, I was running 13.0x @ 105.xxAnd I set a personal best for mph as well as time. So, Would I recommend it?My 1st race was against a modified T-Bird, I lost. 13.6 vs 13.3My 9th race as I realized later was against the same T-Bird, he was less lucky. 13.08 vs 13.3 (he ran consistent all day)I don't think he realized he was racing the same car, at least I didn't even think twice this was the same car that blew me away almost 4 hours earlier. From my single experience, this product is AWESOME!1. Pour in as much as you want when you need it2. Does not add 5 gallons of race gas weight3. Order it in advance, use whenever, no need to look for a gas station4. 30 bux to use twice or $80 to use once to get maybe 100 from 93?If you want to discuss more and you happen to drive a Ford Edge or a Lincoln MKX you can find me in a facebook group, Ford Edge Sport - Gost Boost? My videos are also available on youtube, should be able to find pretty easy as not many people race these things.Current ranking: #2caution: My vehicle is tuned and I use a separate tune for race gas. If your vehicle is stock, expect minimal to no improvement from using race gas

Great product, good results!
My husband got this for extra HP and our car seems to love it!

Race Gas is way more compatible than you think it is.
***EDIT written at end of review***This stuff is fantastic first and foremost. There's just no getting around that fact.Got a 2-stroke? Don't worry, it's compatible with all types of 2-stroke oil, and doesn't jeopardize the lubricity or film strength. Tested it with 4 different base oils (full synthetic, castor, mild synthetic, and petroleum based) in my '99 KX125. It actually helps keep the spark plug cleaner, for longer. Also stands as a good fuel stabilizer (held in can for 2 months, no separation or gelling)Got a vehicle with high compression or a motorcycle? Don't worry, it works fantastically as an octane booster, makes cleaner combustion events, and doesn't negatively effect oil through blow-by. I sent the oil I drained from my ZX6R after a full track day to a local oil analysis lab, and came back with near-perfect results. There were some combustion byproducts suspended in the oil, but the oil itself hadn't lost lubricity or film strength.Product works as advertised, and exceeded my expectations. Only one suggestion to those planning on buying:If you plan on using this product on a regular basis (dirt bike for trails, drag car that sees a lot of passes, track car/bike that sees 3 or more track days/year, there's another listing for this product that sells them in a pack of 12 (I think... I could be wrong...) In that instance, buy the case instead of the single can. It's a better bulk buy, and since this stuff already acts as a fuel stabilizer, it won't go bad if left unopened for a period of time.*** As noted in other reviews, after extended use (particularly in 4-stroke applications), you are going to find a hazel-brown residue on the spark plugs when pulling them out. This is apparently normal, as it has occurred in every machine I've used this product in. As of current, I haven't had this negatively effect the ignition's ability to produce a stable spark/ignition event, but I also haven't run it for more than 1 full season of motorcycle track days (8 2-day weekends in total, each day averaging out to about 3-3.5 hours total run time at speed). If you wish to re-condition plugs, ultrasonic sink, low-intensity solvent, 120 degree temperature, and 20 minutes of operation will do a good enough job to remove the vast majority of the residue from the 2 spark nodes.IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: If you plan on using this in a vehicle that gets stored for extended periods of time (winter storage, etc.), make sure to flush your fuel system prior to storage. I learned this the hard way. Chevron's Techron fuel system cleaner is more than enough to handle this, and is listed on Amazon as Part Number 65740. Race Gas Additive will eventually cause your injectors to clog up if not addressed, and is just part of the additive package.

Big improvement
As advertised the octane level obviously increased. The valve rattle quit, motor smoothed, and power was obvious. California fuel is the worst. If you live here and pay the extreme fuel tax, this might seem to make it worse, but believe me I added miles per gallon using this. I'm sure it won't be as noticeable on all vehicles but on mine it was very noticeable.
