Biotics Research Butyric Cal Mag Intestinal Support, Gut Health, Supports Healthy Pathways, Immune Support 60 Count

These were part of my gut microbiome recovery regimen prescribed by my holistic Integrative Doctor. The program worked amazingly well, although I can't be sure how much or what part this product played. I can say that this Integrative Medicine practice recommends and carries Biotics products and warns against most of the lower quality supplement makers, citing that this company is reputable and independent 3rd party verified. The product itself does have a slightly what I might call "sour" smell to it, so if you're sensitive to pill smells (like I am), put it in a spoonful of yogurt or something to mask it.

I have been using Butyric-Cal-Mag off and on for a few years now. It’s is my go to product for stomach problems. Granted the Butyric Acid in the product doesn’t smell good but the benefits out way the smell for me.

Bifidus is generally recommend for large intestine health, but this product is more effective. Be sure and start with the recommended dosage of two capsules per meal. I started with a lower dose and results were not as firm as with the recommended dosage. Don't expect an overnight effect either, took two to three weeks for results, in my experience.

Worked well for my feet pain. I recommend it.

the medicine wasn't seal inside and it smelled really badly!!! i doubt it is original product, has to return it!

This product was recommended to help with some mild gut inflammation. That inflammation was causing other issues, which have improved (I've been taking it for a couple of weeks)! So, it works as described. BUT a few people get terrible insomnia with this product, and I'm one of them. If I take 3 a day, I don't sleep much at all! So, now that my issues are improved, I will discontinue using the product, because I need my sleep! This is apparently an unusual side effect, but you should be aware of it.
