I like that this brush has minimal breakage unlike most brushes. It has comfortable griping and comes in single colors or combo colors. The only thing different about the brush is the separator that snaps on the back of brush to help keep the back stable. But cool thing is the brush has comb like future that are thick that when brushing through the hair it detangle the hair. This brush has no bristles nor tips on end to to pull or snag on the hair. To me it performs pretty good. It also doesn't cost an arm and a leg to buy. I hope you find this useful.

It does a good job, works as claimed... But, for me personally it took some getting used to. I'd been using the Conair Detangling Brush for wet or dry hair since they came out years ago and loved them. Unfortunately, I have really long, very thick, misbehaving hair (and my daughter got it from me, for which she is less than thankful for lol not that I blame her) I always ended up having to get a new one every year as the bristles would wear out and get to where they wouldn't even go through my hair before going sideways. I stumbled upon these brushes while looking for new ones for my daughter and I and decided to try them after reading the info and a lot of reviews. I hadn't seen or heard of them before so I didn't realize how popular they apparently are. Now that I have gotten used to it I can see why. This is a good brush, though a really odd looking one. It looks like a rake, according to my daughter, lol. It took getting used to for both of us after using the other type for so long. This one pulls more as it has resistance that the ones I was used to didn't, but even though it pulls some and had me feeling a bit tender headed for the first few days it didn't break or damage my hair. I blame my old brush for my head getting tender so easily, it didn't used to. I think the fact that the bristles didn't have much resistance let my scalp sensitize due to lack of stimulation. Which is why I decided to give this brush an honest try even when I was a touch sore after I used it for the first few days. It does a good job of not breaking hair when being used and I like how easy it is to clean. Plus, no more issues with water filling my brush inside the bristle pad in the shower. I love the big shower comb that came with it and the hair clips are about the neatest little things for helping hold hair while cutting or styling it. I've never seen ones like that before. Only the ones that stay straight. I love the hinge on these. Overall, a nice little set and my daughter and I are both happy with ours.

I have no idea where the comb has disappeared to, but the brush is indispensable. My younger child was blessed with beautifully ringlet curls while the rest of us have just a bit of unruly wave, and using this brush keeps the curls we're so jealous of in gorgeous shape without painful pulling (we have the adjustable bar at the lower end for more flexibility).The bristles give such a good scalp massage, I occiasionally borrow this brush for my own very long hair, and getting my dead hairs out of it is so much easier than my normal brush.

I wouldn't recommend if you have real thick hair but thin to medium thick this brush is amazing. My granddaughter has very curly, soft thick hair and it was great for her hair as well as my hair that's thinning with age but still tangles. Great for the price.

Love this brush for my naturally curly, kinky hair. It doesn't hold static, doesn't create more frizz, and doesn't pull hair out. I have very long hair that is totally wacko, and this seems to just glide through it with very few hairs in the brush afterward. It also works well to slightly tease the top of my hair for a natural lift. I love that it is safe on wet or dry hair. The comb lives in the shower stall (because it has a hook end) and is used to distribute conditioner quickly and easily. I almost never have tangles!

I’ve had this brush for a while now. For context my hair is thick and used to be down to my butt (I cut it short recently), this brush has saved me loads of time. I used to spend forever brushing my hair and trying to clean my brushes. This brush has the bristles on their own parts so it pulls with your hair to glide through easier while also getting knots out. It doesn’t have the little pieces on the end of the brush, so it makes getting hair and stuff off of the brush easy. Since the brush doesn’t have the padding on the back like a traditional brush I can use it in the shower and not have to worry about bacteria and mold build up from it getting wet. The wide tooth comb works just like the other ones. I also like that it comes with its own hair clips for me to use while I style my hair. If you are looking for an easy to clean brush, or one that won’t rip all your hair out I recommend this one!

I do not touch my hair without using one of these items n my hair… excellent to detangle my hair type 4c hair.
