Fit- Fits in hand better than any other knife I have in my collection. Steel- 420 High Carbon Stainless (420HC), not to be confused with plain 420, is one if the best durable stainless steels for the money. Larrin Thomas, expert steel metallurgist and author has graphs showing this 420HC is just as tough/durable as the expensive 14C28N and AEB-L stainless steels but with slightly less edge retention. (Source: Knife steel nerd website and books on amazon) 420HC is easy to sharpen so edge retention is not an issue for me. 420HC is superior blade steel to 440A,B,C steels. Thickness- Thick beefy blade and is full tang Sheath- The knife clicks into the sheath and is retained well. The only improvements I would like to see is a click locking feature like the unique glock 79/81 series knives which retain the knife under any condition and change the belt clip to allow the sheath to rotate/swivel.

Sharp out of the box, good weight and its comfortable to hold. I love the MOLLE belt clip and how adjustable it is. Fits on a duty belt or for every day carry. This is perfect for hiking and camping.

Don't sell this knife short. It is of high quality and durable for most applications you can expect to use it in. The knife is well crafted with every detail taken into consideration and used throughout the production process. The knife, out of the box, is sharp enough to cut through most ropes, branches, etc. The sheath is of good quality and capable of attaching to belts, straps, or packs (with a little modification need). The shape and design fit well into the hand and remains comfortable when used. Average size but could be larger. Its full tang gives it plenty of stability. Great knife to have available should you need an all-purpose go-to-knife in a pinch. Found it useful in the most extreme conditions and it served me well. Solid, practicable, and functional.

Take what I write with a little reservation as I have only had this knife foe a few days and can't possibly attest to its long term durability at this time. That said, it feels solid. It is sharp right out of the box and the size is perfect for self close quarter self-defense and for general usage. I love the fact that it has a guard to prevent my hand from sliding onto the blade with rugged use. The sheath/holster is of great quality and can be attached to my belt. All-in-all, I think it was a fair buy for the price.

This is a good quality knife that is easy to sharpen and holds an edge. I am satisfied with my purchase. Update: 12/24 I have used this knife for almost a year now and I have no complaints. Sharpens well, is durable, and even the latch on the knife sheath is still function.

Fits my hand well and is very sharp, good thing I had some butterfly bandages on hand.
