Miraculous Stories, Wonderfully Told
As someone who became inspired to pursue "9/11 Truth" after spontaneously connecting with a group of 9/11 spirits while working near Ground Zero in 2008, I was hopeful that the encounters reported in "Messages" would touch on the fact that that there is much more to 9/11 than what the government and mainstream media is telling us. The only instance in "Messages" that arguably comes close to making that point is when Deena Burnett discusses her husband Tom's 9/11 premonitions. Tom said that he didn't know exactly what was going to happen, but predicted that '...it was going to impact a large number of people and that it had something to do with the White House.' Despite the fact that "Messages" included just this one reference to what might be considered a grain of 9/11 Truth, I thoroughly enjoyed reading Bonnie McEneaney's painstaking account of the many wonderful signs and visits from loved ones lost on 9/11, and the positive impact that resulted. "Messages" also confirmed much of the knowledge I have gained during a spiritual quest that began in earnest in 1997, and validated my own metaphysical experiences.I very much appreciated that Mrs. McEneaney allowed the families and friends of loved ones lost on 9/11 to share their miraculous encounters in their own words. The author's thoughtful introductions to the people involved helps the reader to get to know them. The inclusion of their photographs is a wonderful touch, and very much enhances the feeling of familiarity. As those familiar with the phenomena are aware, our loved ones in Spirit will use whatever methods they can to let us know that they are okay and that they still love us--be it contact thru dreams, synchronicities, feelings, thoughts, sounds, smell, touch, electricity, coins, animals, or otherwise. The experiences related in "Messages" involve all of these, and more...including a number of the less common methods of contact such as actually seeing a loved one who has crossed over. Of course, HOW any of this can happen will always be a great mystery, but as the insightful Mrs. McEneaney makes clear, connections with loved ones in Spirit do in fact occur and are not all that uncommon. The author's telling of the extraordinary number of premonitions leading up to 9/11 was especially intriguing, and totally supportive of the belief held by many in the spirituality community that, "The soul knows when it's time to go home."Since our Western minds will always tend to doubt the validity of metaphysical occurrences--even when they happen to us--it's very important to share our experiences with others (while being careful with whom we confide). Mrs. McEneaney has performed a valuable service in this regard, by gathering and sharing testimonial evidence that there is life after death, that love never dies, and that our loved ones on the Other Side continue to watch over us. Presented in the context of 9/11, the seminal event of our time, the evidence is that much more powerful and persuasive.

Simply Synchronicious!
Smart, well written, and compassionately told, this book was pure pleasure to read. I was cautious it might teeter on this side of silly, or have been produced simply for the quick buck, but my concerns were quickly dispelled with each turned page. The stories were compelling and believable. I was also grateful for the author's care in tending to the sensitive nature of the topic of 911, its families, and those whose messages were gently revealed. The included images really iced the experienced, too, gifting us with an opportunity to be pulled closer into the story sharing.Ms. McEneaney's book was synchronistically delicious; both in it's telling and how it affected me personally! By that I mean the stories of coincidence were not only moving and interestingly curious - sparking excitement and wonder, but the simple act of reading them generated coincidences in my own life. I'd read a page about rainbows or another on butterflies and find a direct connection to same later in the day. I'd read about a certain psychic and find that individual, who I'd never heard of before, lived nearby and was holding an event the following week, on the date of my now passed mother's birthday. And so forth. So, magical and electric! Simply synchronicious! If you want to charge your spiritual battery, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of "Messages..." today. Who knows, maybe it will ignite a few coincidences in your own life like it did mine! Thank you Bonnie.

Love, hope, confirmation
I was drawn to this book because I suffered the devastating loss of my only child three years ago when he was age 26. It was a sudden, unexpected death event as were most, but apparently not all, those on 9/11. The books retells many erie stories of foreboding as well as some who seemed to downright know they weren't long for THIS world. Then following the event, such touching and heartfelt "coincidences" that are difficult to explain away as random. I was curious to hear the messages Bonnie was writing about so that I could compare them to my own personal angel touches that I know I have received. We just can't explain some things in a so-call rationale way and the people in this book reflect how God or some higher power's tender mercies lead us out of the darkness when we need it most. It's an easy, captivating read to those interested in the subject and if nothing else causes all of us to pause and remember 9/11 again and how many suffered so much.

Very emotional book, brought great comfort to me at a time when I was grieving over someone I loved very much. Whether you believe in it or not, you take from it what you need. Was lovely to hear and understand people's stories from 9/11.

Read in less than 2 days.
I watched a documentary about this book years ago & with 9/11 soon approaching thought it would be an ideal time to order & read.A brilliantly fascinating book regarding the afterlife that has given me plenty of food for thought about what happens in the 'next life'.I found myself tearing up at some parts but ultimately the message is positive. I really do hope the victims have found peace on the other side & alike for all loved ones lost.
