This product is absolutely amazing. First time building gate and mounting with these hinges. Even I figured them out pretty easy. Worked like a charm. Would 100% buy again and again. Love the look too. Very nice!

They are not kidding about the 'Heavy Duty.' I suggest using some 1.5 inch exterior screws (kind of like deck screws) instead of the smaller screws that come with them. The adjustable feature comes in very handy. The gate sagged about 1/4 inch after a few weeks (initial settling), so I adjusted the hinges. It has stayed straight ever since.

Nice heavy duty hinges for my gate. Just wish they put some longer bolts in. If you are bolting through the fence slats, there is not enough thread to dig into the posts/studs. Had to use all weather drywall screws -not as good a look but very effective.

Updated 11/4/22; The company has made up for the snapped off/broken adjuster piece by sending an entire set of new hinges, as they explained the tiny silver adjuster bolts aren't available on their own (sad, because they can't cost more than a few cents each). I am completely happy with the way the company addressed my issue, especially after amazon's 30-day return period. Bottom line; if there is an issue, the company stands behind their product! They seemed very sturdy and I loved having them holding my gorgeous, handcrafted solid wood deck gate. Today is Oct. 7th, the return window closed Sept. 26th. This afternoon, I opened my gate and heard a loud "pop!", and knew immediately that one of the two silver adjusting screws snapped and is missing entirely. It has been working perfectly for over a month. I have no idea what made it pop off, nothing had changed with how or how often I was using the gate. It would be a very easy replacement, but there doesn't seem to be an option to replace just that piece. The gate still works but now only one hinge is under tension to pull it closed, so it stays open much longer, enabling by sneaky dog to squeeze thru before it closes.

Just what I needed for my heavy yard gates. I built my fence and gates to last, and these hinges worked great to close the gates so our dogs don't escape. Easy to install.

Great looking hinges, and seem to be strong for now. The adjustability is very helpful only downsides are the plastic rings the put on each side of the adjustment nuts, they break off when you tighten them so I'd suggest going to your local hardware shop and getting some black washers. I'd strongly recommend using some carriage bolts for your hardware seeing the supplied hardware is very short and doesn't add much structural support. Besides all that I'd definitely buy again if I had to build another gate. Btw my gate us 6 feet tall and 4.5 feet wide so it's very heavy and these hinges have held up a few months already.

Worked great for a month and then one of the springs broke or stripped out inside and has no tension.
