I used this product on apples and bananas. I have been using this for approximately one month, I received it for a Christmas gift. I went to use it today March 15 2021 and it turned on and turned right off and I smelled something burning.I called the company and am waiting for a response

I found putting the meats on the bottom is best for quicker dehydration time, as well as no dripping onto other items. I usually dehydrate beef with apples on the top rings. This came with one solid ring, but I make a lot of fruit rollups so I ordered 2 more. For fruit roll ups its best to have an empty ring in between the other solid ones for better air flow. This dehydrator works better than the rectangle one I purchased. It gets up to 165 degrees, which for beef is perfect. Even the top ring got to temp as needed with all the rings filled.

I have used this dehydrator so many times and i can say that it never disappoints. It always perfectly dehydrates whatever i put in without any problems whatsoever. I would suggest putting it in an open space outside or your house or room will start smelling like whatever you put in. It also lets out a lot of heat, so that is another reason to put it in an open space.
