Compact, powerful and super versatile
Arrived in it’s original packaging which I liked. Eco friendly choice.I bought this mixer specifically for mixing dough and cakes. Definitely powerful enough for all kinds of dough. Have used this for focaccia, granary, multi-seeded and pizza dough with no issues at all. Muffins, sponge cakes and also a very fruity Christmas cake were also easy to prepare. There are quick guide cards to suggest which mixer heads and which setting to best use. These are super handy and small enough to store inside the mixer.I specifically ordered this mixer as it ranked highly as a compact mixer. I don’t have a great deal of worktop space and this easily fits in a kitchen cupboard. All the accessories fit inside the mixing bowl so it’s perfect if you’re short on space.I love the timer function, super handy for dough and the speed options. It is definitely not the quietest at higher speeds but it’s also not a big problem because let’s be honest it’s doubtful you’ll be mixing for really long periods of time. The suction pads keep the mixer in place for long periods of time but they are also easy to release when cleaning and storing the mixer.Highly recommended for the price and functionality.

Morphy Richard’s Mix-star Compact Worth Buying
The media could not be loaded. I was very sceptical for the price but this Morphy Richard’s Mixstar compact is a little work horse, l use it for my bread dough and cakes, it isn’t too noisy and l use it more than my other very expensive mixer, which cost 5 times more than this one. The quality is great, the stainless steel bowl is brilliant. With all the tools that pack away into the mixing bowl. See photosIn my opinion a great mixer.

Great all round home stand mixer
I bought this stand mixer a I’ve been looking for one for some time and it was on a good offer. I’ve previously owned a Kitchen Aid heavy duty mixer, which was both fiddly and a bit large for my kitchen. This seemed to fit the bill for one that’s up to all home kitchen tasks, compact and easy to clean. It arrived on time and so far I’m happy with its robustness and versatility. It’s mixed baked, pizza and bread dough and pasta dough with no problem. It is far easier to clean than I’d expected and stores everything within itself, which really helps. I do have to agree, this is not a quiet machine, which is why I’ve taken it down from 5 to 4 stars.

DO NOT BUY! MOULD AND FOOD CONTAMINATION RISK!
DO NOT BUY THIS! I bought this back in October 2024 to help with my hobby baking. I thought this would be great because it is compact for storage and reasonably priced. It was really good for the first 2 months but then I have had to take it apart, wash rigorously and then leave all the parts to completely air dry before use because of issues with mould growing in the inner, central parts. And then do the same cleaning routine again after use to prevent mould. After less than a year I think this is now un-useable after I left it in a cool, dry, cupboard for a month for storage and now it smells very mouldy even with no visible signs of mould. Avoid this and buy something else.

Dough
I bought this item on sale a few weeks ago, to make bread dough. I've made a couple of loaves with differing hydration and both have turned out great. The mixer couldn't be simpler to use, with a timer that counts up to 10 minutes (after which time, if it's been running continuously, you'll need to stop and let it cool down for 20 minutes or so) and a dial for speed and that's it.It feels solid and well made and the attachments are neatly stored in a caddy that sits in the bowl when not in use, which I really appreciate because I can't lose track of them or get frustrated with them taking up space in drawers. The suction power is enough to ensure the mixer doesn't move about while in use.Unlike other reviews, I don't find it super noisy.I'm happy with my purchase and hope it stands up to the test of time.

So easy to use and time saving
I like that it’s quick to mix and easy to use, made a great lemon cake first time use - easer to wash in the dish washer than by hand - is a bit noisy but can live with that - was a bit expensive but sure saves all that hand mixing I have been doing sometimes with an electric whisk so the main thing is it saves so much time with good results.

Not ergonomic
I found this mixer very hard to use; when making buttercream the whisks need to be physically lifted off to scrape down the sides making things messy and the attachments don't reach the bottom of the bowl, the bottom of the bowl also gets warm when in use.so it hampers making meringues. The only plus is it's compactness. In hindsight I wish I'd bought a stand mixer but I guess you get what you pay for.

Good Mixer
Bought for my daughter as a present. She really loves it. It’s a little noisy, but a good mixer overall. We like that it doesn’t take up much room when not in use, we don’t have huge amounts of countertop space so it’s perfect on that front. We like how it stores into itself. Seems nicely made, study and reliable - we’ve had this for a few years now, so this isn’t a quick review after purchase.
