Do these modestly priced BJC speaker cables make an improvement in My audio system? Oh, Yes!
I wasnât an âaudiophileâ who put much belief in costly power or interconnects for my equipment. I did upgrade ALL my cables, but I did so carefully, and always within a budgetâexcept for speaker cable. And I was content. I wasnât finished (are we ever completely content) with tweaking our gear. So, having lived with my equipment for nearly 2 years; I recently added the KEF Kube 10b sub (on sale) from Amazon to my smallish listening spaceâfor those few low octaves that I knew were missing. It is a very nice addition for my Revel M106 standmounts. Tight bass, no boom-boom.I had put these BJC speaker cables in my âsave-for-laterâ part of my Amazon cart, maybe 6 months ago. Ten-footers, two of them. My old 10 gauge diy cables seemed okayâexcept for the banana plugs. They werenât a good, snug fit in any of the ports (Amp L+R, two speakers L+R). Not quite tight-fitting enough for me. An itch I wanted to scratch... Okay.Into the cart, a week ago went the BJC Canare 4S11 cables with locking banana plugs. Four days later they arrived. Iâve bought from Blue Jeans Cable before, but not speaker cables. I was shocked, flabbergasted at the improvement to what was a slightly warm, well-detailed sound (I thought). Suddenly, channel separation, definition, stage depth & height were all improved in my system. Not a suggestion of improvement; real âWOW, thatâs new!â stuff. So, maybe it was poor-fitting bananas(?). Maybe. Partly. But, now, now Iâve got close to 'everything' I promised myself years ago. Kudos, BJC.And still on a budget.

Audiophile cable without the audiphile price or hype
I have spent a lot of money on cables throughout the years. Cables that promised liquid, velvet, chocolatey sound. Cables that cost a lot of money in order to justity these companies exorbitant advertising budgets. Cables that frankly, were overpriced and underdelivered on the lofty expectations of this audio enthusiast (Audioquest & Transparent, I am looking at you). Unfortunately, audiophile consumer has no regulations or checks and balances. Snakeoil salesmen can peddle the prettiest cable you have ever seen and convince you that you will hear things you have never heard before. It's kind of like the vitamin industry, take this little green pill and every ache and pain you feel will magically disappear, until the next little blue pill comes along and they need to convince you that you cannot live without it. That is how the audio cable industry operates, they convince you that a problem exists and promise you the world towards solving this supposed problems if only you buy their cables. It's all a load of nonsense. Now, what you get with a Blue Jean speaker cable is going to be great sound without the bells and whistles or hype that these other beautifully made speakers deceptively promise. I am ashamed to say I have fallen for the hype, beautiful cool looking cables and cables with little boxes on them that promise to filter out junk. I can honestly say I heard no difference in audio quality when I switched out my Transparent MusicWave speaker cables and subsituted the Blue Jean cables. Listen, a well shielded, well made and terminated cable like the BJC will perform at audiphile levels without lightening your wallet. Go out and sell your gorgeous flashy cables to some other sucker that doesn't know the electrical engineering, physics and science behind good sound. Are these cables beautiful works of art? Well, if your idea of a work of art is a well crafted product with attention paid to quality and price then heck yes. This is a beautiful cable that will make your music sound "liquid", "velvety" and "chocolatey" all without the added price so that you can spend that extra cash you saved buying these on liquids, velvet and chocolate. Stop reading this review and buy these cables if you are interested in great sound, affordability and no audiophile B.S. Don't repeat my mistakes purchasing expensive cables that promise the moon and only deliver in draining your wallet. Thanks for making great cables BJC, we all owe you a nice drink someday.

Wow. Just wow!
I changed all of the wires in my system to Blue jeans cables. I still am not sure about this argument that cables do not make a difference. All I know is that every time I added a blue jeans cable to my equipment the improvement was noticeable immediately. I am extremely happy with this brand and I'm extremely happy with these cables. What you have to realize in the end is that the connectors are probably the most important part of cables and that's where the blue jeans expertise comes in. By without hesitation. High quality.
