***I have received no incentives from this seller for this review***I have to say this is the easiest way to make sushi. I used to have a “sushezi” and that was easier than bamboo rolling, but this thing is significantly easier!Sure, this thing lets you make round, triangle, heart, big square, and little square -shaped sushi, but I don’t care about any of that. I want to bring sushi into my meal rotation by making it as easy as possible.Easy tips:1) the triangle or half circle is easiest (using the flat/square top to smush down the roll. This allows you to put a plate on top, flip it and have perfectly displayed sushi. Either bottom allows the knife to cut through the entire roll, so that’s less important.2) because you’re packing the rice down, I find that I can use relatively warm rice that I don’t have to rinse down first and it still turns out fine. When I put the water and rice together, little bits of bran float to the top (of at all in the brand i use) so that saves time and steps...again all about easily.3) With this kit, I find that moistening the nori sheet at the center helps me nature the Nori doesn’t break, and I moisten the nori sheet on the ends to bind them together which is pretty standard, but not in the instructions.

Loved, product easy to use and easy to clean

Made my first two large sushi rolls on Friday, using this kit. Delicious. Used recipes I found online. Tools include ways to make several different shapes and two sizes. Instructional brochure was horrible, nice photos, but mislabeled tools, and repeated instructions incorrectly, random errors, very confusing. Would have liked one roller sheet, even plastic, with the kit (not absolutely necessary, but allows you to do inverse rolls- rice outside the seaweed). Overall, a very good investment, but throw away the instructions - more frustration than help. And also buy a single rolling sheet (bambook or plastic) if you want to make sushi with rice on the outside. PS MAKE SURE to use real sushi rice, which is hard to find in grocery stores, or you will be sorry. Highly recommend "Sushi Cookbook for Beginners", available on Amazon.

I received mine today, and I was curious if it work for me, so I tested it right away. I had some tuna fish salad and left over rice. I used the small one first and it made decent rolls, and next I tried round one put some beef and fried tofu and they are fine. I always just use bamboo roll and I got tired of making sushi rolls..rice sticking unto my hands.. This little thing works pretty good. The plastic molds are thick and easy to clean. To me best part is cutting the roll in the mold. Do not leaves mess. I m pleased with this product.

Not the easiest or funnest to use

This is very easy to use but makes really large rolls. The square one is the smallest and closest size to the average roll. My kids loved the heart shaped one the most. You have to use an excessive amount of rice. Much more than just rolling it with a bamboo mat. I tried using less rice and adding more “filling”, it didn’t stay together as well.

I love making sushi with my family and I used different tools to make sushi but it always ended up super messy. I saw this sushi making kit on Amazon and bought it without a doubt because I’ve seen the video of how to use this . When the product delivered to my door I used it right away and I was so amazed because it’s easy to use and my sushi came out so perfect!My family and I was so amazed with this product, it gives me a wonderful feeling because I can now serve my sushi clean and perfect,I highly recommended this product!

I've read the instructions multiple times! Maybe it's just me. Nice set though and easy to clean and helps with the form of your sushi/California roll.

It was definitely easy to use and clean, but I do wish it was made so you could decide how big or small you wanted your sushi to be. If you want to do the heart or round shapes, you've only got one size option.

I really like how easy this makes simple sushi rolls at home. The only downside being it doesn't allow the rolls to be packed as tight as would make it easy for eating with chopsticks. I have already used it three times in the week since I got it to make some shrimp tempura, crab, and vegetarian rolls. A fun kitchen tool for a sushi addict in north-America.

I love making sushi and only had th Mat. Having this kit made it so much easier to make.I highly recommend.🍱

No real instructions but easy enough to figure out.Sushi was big in size but heart shape cute.Would recommend.
