TAKARA TOMY Speed ​​Change in Plarail S-16 Rail !! E5 Shinkansen Hayabusa

This seems to be the only bullet train model in the Plarail train series with the speed change feature. This makes it my 3-year old grandson’s favorite!

Product is a birthday gift. Great product!The delivery packaging wasn’t adequate, the item packaging was damaged, don’t know if the item was damaged because I didn’t want to open it. It should have been in a carton instead of the oversized plastic envelope.

We got these Hayabusa bullet train miniatures for our 3 year old. We didn’t bother purchasing the tracks but she still seems to enjoy them, following these train cars everywhere in the house. She maneuvers them with her toes on our parquet floor. You can also change their speed by adjusting the little knob on the bottom of the battery-carrying-car, which is pretty cool even for adults. Had we purchased the corresponding blue tracks (sold separately) the special red and green tracks (included) would change the train’s speed as they go through the tracks.They seem a lot more durable than we expected. For less than $20, we definitely got the money’s worth.

The train was great. My son loved it. It only came with two tiny pieces of track. I wish it had came with a track for the train to ride on.
