I have always had a phobia of dying of my hair. I have naturally red hair and have heard so many horror stories of redheads not being able to get their red color back after dying. I decided to try a semi-permanent dye for my first time. I decided on this product and chose the dark red brown color. I love it! The color is dark and sexy which I love and since this is not a permanent dye, the color slowly faded back to my natural color so I was not left with unsightly roots. I really love that I can let my natural color come back or keep dying my hair to keep the new color, all without having to deal with roots showing though. I am so sad that this product is discontinued, but I will keep buying it here while I can!

ok so first off it came in a day early which was a plus :) The dye works great its a bit messy but it did not stain my skin like the others I used in the past . my hair was brown with redish light tones to it I hated it so I was hoping this would even out my color and get me to a black .which it did :)the smell when I was washing it off was horrid and i almost tasted it ,it was that intense . But it got the job done and my hair looks amazing I can not be happier with this color . It isn't dull like most black dyes . my hair looks glossy and the conditioner brought my hair back from the dead .My hair feels so soft now after using the dye .

This was an awful product for me. I can’t believe how bright red it made my hair and my hair is dark. It came off on my pillow and clothes for weeks and it still has not washed out. I use other products in the line that are Auburn but this is not Auburn this is deep clown red. I’ve also use the same product in a dark brown and it doesn’t last as long as this so not sure what to advise unless you really are looking for this colour red…

When I did color my hair this was my "go to" brand and variety. The one thing I liked best about this is the tube of conditioner that is included and I now use only the conditioner for my natural hair and toss the colorant away! It makes my hair smooth and silky without the weight of other conditioners and does not leave scalp residue as bad. This makes my grey hair a bright silvery white; I just wished L'Oreal would sell this conditioner as a separate product!

I'm Asian with typical dark hair, also with lots of gray hair due to aging. This product is easy to use by yourself. The best I like about this hair color is that it has no ammonia smell. About this color, I was hesitated when prepping the mix because it was orange color just like carrots! Fortunately the color turned out as shown on packaging but my gray hair turned "copper" color. It stained some of my scalp and skin but wasn't difficult to remove. Overall I'm satisfied with this product. Next time I'll try different colors.

I loved this color. The box shows an accurate picture of what color to expect your hair to be. I had some people tell me it was a reddish purple, it looks different in different lights. I got lots of compliments on it, and intend to use it again. Also, the color lasts longer than the 28 washes mentioned on the box. It gradually begins to fade, but some of the color has lasted for about a month and a half.

First time I used this color I'd give it 5 start - a very vibrant, striking color. Used it 10 month later - this color did not turn out the same way.It was a little less attractive but still good color, if you want to take a break from permanent, Amonia colors. (My natural hair color is dark brown).
