Clear so you can see where your needle is
Been looking for clear 1/4” feet in stores. Friend told me she got hers here. Perfect!

FABULOUS FEET
ESPECIALLY LIKE THE NARROW ONE, BUT HAVE USED THE OTHER STYLE FOR YEARS.

Very useful for quilting
I have several 1/4 inch sewing feet, but I like that this one is clear. It fit perfect in my Babylock and I was able to sew accurate 1/4 inch seams. It just snapped on and was easy to use.

One foot is great, the other is ok
The foot with the LONG red stripes is nice. But those markings are on the underside of the foot and therefore wear off quickly. Both sides are 1/4” and the red marks allow for 1/8” seams to be measured easily. The hole for the needle is quite small and will not accommodate anything but a straight stitch. The asymmetrical foot is my favorite! The markings are on top so they do not wear. The right hand side is 1/4” for regular piecing and the left is 1/8” for extra narrow work. The back of the foot gets wider to help hold fabric to the feed dogs. The hole for the needle is just large enough for a narrow zig zag (or bar tack) so I rarely have to change feet anymore. This pair is still a great value as each foot alone usually costs the price of this pair, but I’m only using the one foot regularly.

very good so far
So far I've only used the large foot of the pair, but that was the one I was most interested in. The width of it definitely helps keep the fabric flat, and it is very smooth on the bottom so fabric runs through it well. I was very surprised at how much better it "felt" using it to piece quilts compared to a standard universal foot. The 1/4 inch guide is just the indent at the bottom, but since you can see the fabric through the foot is is easy to keep in line even on curves like drunkard's path designs.I have a 1980s vintage Singer machine with a low shank and the old size presser foot holder, so have to use an adapter to use these feet (narrower attachment bar). More than once, the foot has slid off the adapter after raising it. However, this may be because of the adapter rather than the foot, but keep in mind the cross bar might be a bit narrower than usual.

Not quite thick enough.
I split them with a friend that has a Brother’s machine. The feet work great on her machine. They do not work very well on the Singer Quantum Stylist 9600 that I use. I think the problem is my machine.

Accurate fit
The 1/4 quilter's foot is sturdy and fits my Brother Quilting machine. I have to adjust my needle position, but that is no problem.

Exactly what I need
My new Babylock sewing machine did not come with this type foot. Found this one on Amazon and it works perfectly.
