Works excellently, perfect for my lockdown stricken car
As is the case with many people during lockdown, I no longer use my car that much. Maybe once or twice a month and for short trips. The trips are so short that they likely do not replenish the energy used to start the diesel engine (high CCA application). Note: This is also bad for the DPF.Due to this, and an active ultrasonic alarm system, the car battery was typically chronically low and wouldn't not start. I had to buy a charger and took a punt with this device. This has successfully restored my auto-start stop (EFB) battery from critical many times. In order to stop such a deep and damaging recharge, once every week or so, I will try and leave this on trickle (weather permitting) to maintain the battery.Great product. Great experience. For all the negative reviews, all I can say is there may be some user error.1) Attach the charger to the battery: Positive to positive then negative to negative/ground. Ensure there is good ventilation and good electrical connections. The charger will spring to life, battery permitting. At this stage it will not charge as there is no input current.2) Plug the charger into the mains and wait. The LCD will tell you when it is completed. There is a decent enough manual, reading is not for chumps, ya know.

It worked!
Left the keys in the ignition over night and killed the battery. I had a portable power bank battery starter but that wouldn't register it was connected to a battery. On googling this problem is common in newer chargers, referred to as smart chargers, they need a minimum amount of charge to pick up the battery is there before they send charge. So when a battery is really dead they don't work. This little beast brought the battery back from the dead. Revived it in about an hour, and the battery has not died since, 4 weeks and counting. It did arrive like it had been used. (scratch on screen, cables loose, no seal on box. I can imagine many people buy, charge, return. I wasn't bothered as it's not exactly a display piece. As long as it worked. Which is did! It's small, the cable was just long enough to reach from a extension cord on the dashboard out the door and under the bonnet. (there was a bit of rain)Connected fine, worked straight away. Easy to use. Safety wise, it's fine. Nothing bad to say

So far so good, short wires though.
Good price considering it charges Lithium batteries too, especially on offer at less than 20 quid. Easy to use ( yes, I actually read the destructions for once! ) It has very short wires, both the mains and 12v wires, hence only 4 stars. Only had it a few weeks so don't know how reliable it is yet but may do an update in the coming months.

Good product, works well.
I was somewhat dubious when the product arrived as it is quite small and lightweight but happily, once I got my flat battery out of the car and connected it up to the charger as per the included instructions, it successfully re-charged the battery fully.Set-up/operation was a little confusing initially because the charger came pre-set to the wrong mode (connecting the cables to the battery terminals resulted in bleeping and a warning the cables were incorrectly connected (they weren't) until I changed the mode setting) but after overcoming that initial learning curve I'm confident about my ability to use the charger in future and the charger's own operation.A good device, not the cheapest nor the most expensive on the market, which did what I needed it to.

Poor Quality.
Plenty of features for the price but quality is clearly poor as two of the prongs on the 3 pin plug would not fit any of my sockets as they were too close together, whilst one of the prongs was also slightly twisted.Given I could not plug it in, I was unable to test its performance but even if I had been able to plug it in, the power cable is far too short for charging under the bonnet of an SUV, so your extension would need to fit under the bonnet or be placed on a chair next to the car.The crocodile clips are also very large, so it's not possible to clip them horizontally to your charging points as they don't make contact with the pole. Your only option is to attach them vertically to the top of the pole, which then prevents you from partially closing the bonnet whilst charging.Given the above, I can't recommend this charger.
