Perfect for DIY pendant lamps
Both cords work perfectly, no flickering-- no loose wonky connections anywhere. Cord is the nice old typical thick lamp cord thickness--meaning not thin and flimsy like many newer cords are. Very bright white. Hasn't discolored yet in 3+ish months of use near a window. Perfect match for a heavier DIY hanging lamp, or puzzle lamp project. Very nice having the extra length for playing around with the ceiling placement of my lamp.CAlso, the cord does not hum. Some do...and if you know what I'm referring to, you'll be happy to know this one stays quiet!

Lamp shade issues
Was very easy to install, just difficult to find a lamp shade that fit without having to sit on the light bulb.

Great product
Needed light in the dark part of a garage with no lighting. Plugged it in and ran it through a hook I drilled into the ceiling and used an LED garage light with it. Lights up the whole area !

Cheap way to make a pendant fixture
I bought these to make pendants for a hallway in my house that had no light fixtures. The 20' cord is very nice, I had plenty of length to route it to an outlet. It also comes with hanging hardware so you can put it up right out of the package. I can't comment on the switch location since I installed a smart bulb and don't use the switch.
