Pet Hair Broom Rubber Broom 59" Long Handle with Build-in Squeegee for Sweeping Hardwood Floor Tile

Initially out of the box, the broom was kinda hard & stiff, and wasn't very effective at trapping hair. After being used a little, though, it got softer & better, and now works well overall, with a better build quality than the last brand we used.That being said, the broom's height is taller than our last brand, so it unfortunately doesn't fit under all the same furniture. And when the weather gets humid, the bristles have a tendency to "grab" the floor rather than sliding smoothly.Overall, though, it's very helpful for sweeping up animal hair, and much faster & easier than vacuuming.

This is the second one I have purchased. Work great on hardwood floors as well as carpet and cloth furniture getting dog hair up. Easy to wash with water and dish detergent when necessary. Not a fan of the handle it comes with so I swapped it out for a broom handle that is just one piece of metal.

We have a Siberian Husky that NEVER stops shedding! It's hard to keep a vacuum from clogging. So I decided to try using a carpet rake first, then vacuuming. I've only used this broom/rake once, but so far I'm pleased with it. It was easy to put together; easy to adjust the length of the pole; and seems to be pretty sturdy and durable. I found that it actually helped to use the squeegee side first, then the broom bristles. The carpet looked so good (5x7 area rug) that I didn't feel the need to vacuum when I was done. It also works well for gathering the fur from under tables and dressers on the hardwood floor, etc. It does take a little bit of effort on the carpet, but it's not a magic wand so I expected that; especially since her fur is like velcro on rugs and fabrics. I'm even thinking about getting a second one to keep in the bathroom where we have a zero-entry shower so I can squeegee the tile, which runs all the way to the ceiling, with ease given the long handle. At this point, the only think I would change is to make the brush head black rather than yellow, as it's already looking dingy after one use from dirt on the floor.

I have two golden retrievers and this works excellent after vacuuming to get the hair that stays in the carpet.

I’m gonna say less effective than my regular broom and dustpan. This thing doesn’t really grab the hair, especially on steps. I did an entire staircase and when I turned around and looked, there was still hair flying around. It’s not here that just got stirred up either. It’s hair that was in the corner areas of the steps and this broom just could not get.

We have a lot of human hair in the carpet and this removes it nicely. I've tried the sticky roller and it works good for a short time until the sticky wears off but then you have to remove the sicky sheet and this is not so easy with long hair on it which causes it to tear and not remove properly. I use this rubber broom before I vacuum and I don't have to clean hair from the vacuum beater bar. I'm glad that I finally tried this and would recommed it to anyone with the same "hair in carpet problem"

The bristles are a soft rubber. Nothing stiff about them to remove dog hair from carpets. It collects dust but did not get any dog hair from three different types of rugs/carpets in my house. It just skims over the top of the carpet. Waste of money.

Love this broom. Wish I was able to upload a picture of what came off my rug after JUST ONE DAY of dogs and kids. You would be shocked!I do wish it would try to untwist when using but I can deal with that.
