PROS and CONS from a mom of 5
Product:Baby DeeDee Sleep Nest Teddy Sleep-sack in white , size Large 18+ monthPROS:- Durable, easy to wash and dry (tumble dry low). Washed on a normal wash cycle with towels, inside out with zipper zipped up. I had the medium size for my baby and used it everyday (swapped out 2 of the same size so I could have 1 to use, 1 in the wash, washed once every 3 days). It held up great and has not shrunk or ripped or pilled.- Size fits great. My baby was 6 months when I had him in the medium size version of this same product, and he used it till he was 14 months. It was definitely quite large (long at the feet, didn’t seem to bother baby, and he flipped over and back just fine). We are now currently in the 18-36 month version and we still love it.CONS:-Shoulder button tabs were amazing! UNTIL he was about 12 months and figured out how to unbutton it. Then he would climb out of it, and just toss it out if his crib. Of course he was cold when we discovered this several mornings in a row. Not to mention, the now loose and free sleep sack could become a hazard to the baby. After the 2nd time he had gotten out of it, I looked for a new product. But since I loved everything else about this product, I didn’t want to switch to something else. So I got creative and stitched the shoulder together (so you can’t pull the tabs open any longer, and you now have to feed his arms through the holes as you would do so when putting on his shirt or onesie). Did this interfere with putting the baby in and out of it? It did not affect our baby as we always put him in the sleep sack BEFORE putting him to down for bed in his crib. (We put him down awake, after singing him a lullaby, and he puts himself to sleep).-Another con might be that the zipper end doesn’t have a cover. You zip from the top down (zipper starts at baby’s chest/neck then zips downward to his feet. So the zipper is almost the same length as the sleep sack. The part by the neck/chest where the zipper starts doesn’t have a little fabric piece to cover it. Nor does the bottom area where the zipper ends. So the zipper kind of goes flappity-flap. Now I have a sewing machine so I just added a little cover at both ends. Although, my little guy did not seem very bothered by it at all. I just sewed a cover for before he figured out how to unzip it. 5th baby...you just can’t be too careful, gotta stop the before they start.Q&A:-Can your baby stand and roll over in this sleep sack? Mine can just fine. I always find him standing when I go in his room in the mornings.-Does the fabric breath? My baby sleeps for 13 hours in it from 6:30pm until 7:30am. (For those curious, I use a sound machine on low for ambient noise, temp set to 69 degrees). I check on him once or twice throughout the night, he’s not sweaty or cold and is sleeping peacefully in his crib. We currently use a Carters size 18mo long sleeve onsie and socks and this sleep sack. He does wake up around in the early morning but puts himself back to sleep within minutes. All in all, I rate this product 5 stars, even with the cons. I have washed and dried this product once every 3 days for 12 months with ZERO issues. I was skeptical of the durability when I saw the negative reviews, but I’m glad I took a chance. My baby is currently 18 months (started wearing the 18-36 month large size when he was 15 months), and he’s been using the baby deedee sleep nest sleep sack since he was 6 months, and he seriously sleeps better and longer with it. So this momma is happy camper. I did NOT receive a free product, I did NOT receive compensation for my review.

My baby is so comfy and cozy!
Wonderful product! Great quality, super soft and warm. My baby is comfy and cozy, while he also has a lot of kicking room. He seems to really like sleeping in it!I love that it feels lightweight, so when I pick him up to feed in the night, it's not cumbersome. At the same time, it's quilted and lined, so he's still warm.

Great warm sturdy bag!
My baby has been sleeping in this bag for several months now and I'm writing this review in hopes that it will help other moms, who like me, might be searching for a warm bag, reading hundreds of other reviews, stressing over neck holes that are too big and not knowing what to pick. This bag is awesome! Our room is the coldest in the house, about 64 degrees overnight, and our baby would get cold with the older bags she inherited from her siblings. I purchased this one in Medium and started putting her in it when she was about 8 months old. She is on the smaller side, and this bag does have a big neck hole, so I wouldn't recommend it too far out of the suggested age range unless your baby is very big. Since my daughter sleeps on her back, I wasn't too worried about her wiggling out of it. If she was a belly sleeper, I might have been more cautious. She sleeps in our room too, so I'd keep an eye on her anyway. I do wish the necks were smaller on Baby DeeDee bags. I've purchased several bag from this brand and they all have this issue; however, none of my kids have had problems with that. The bag is the perfect thickness, warmth and softness! I still put a long-sleeved fleece bag under it in addition to footed pjs because our daughter loves being warm, apparently. When it's warmer out, just long sleeved footed pjs underneath work well with it. I love how soft and cuddly it is. The zipper is very easy to operate at night - no problems whatsoever. It washes well and does not seem to shrink. I dry on low heat.I would highly recommend this bag!

The best sleep sack!
We’ve used all kinds of sleep sacks and this is by far our favorite. We live in NY so this is perfect for the cold winters- very heavy and warm. My son loves the softness of it.

Just what I was looking for !
I bought this sleep sack looking for something comfy and warm to put my 6month old in at night. It is very thick and gives cushioning for his crib mattress that is very firm. It is so easy to get him in and he has been sleeping better and longer during the nights. Plenty of room to grow in too!

Super cozy
We live in New England and needed something warm for babe before we start putting heat on and this is perfect ! With just a zip up sleeper and this sack she is nice and warm. The zipper quality seems thick and sturdy.
