Very precise and worth the money
I play the guitar and have a regular clip on tuner. I decided to get a lyre and picked a high end one. I used the clip on to tune it. It sounded okay but honestly I was never blown away with the sound. I didn’t particularly thing it was the greatest with the guitar either. I got fed up with how hard it was to tune the lyre, and always missed my old digital tuner that didn’t clip on. It felt easier. I broke down and got this. I couldn’t be happier! My eyes widen as I heard how my lyre could sing! This is a great tuner with settings to fine tune, such as guitar and chromatic (for the lyre). It’s worth the money. The metronome works as well.

One of the better metronomes.
Hands down, the best metronome is the TE Tuner application for smartphones and tablets but using a smartphone as a metronome/tuner comes with serious drawbacks. Enter the dedicated metronome/tuner. I've been using this metronome for about two months now, and it has very few drawbacks and a lot of great things along with a very low price tag. It is rechargeable! And works while recharging! I cannot stress this enough, because I have plenty of dead metronomes and tuners that need batteries, so much so I bought a mechanical metronome (which I still often use on odd or syncopated rythms). At full power, it is reasonably loud if you stand it up on its own kickstand, but barely audible when laying flat. It comes with an output speaker jack, and so can be extremely loud. This also greatly extends battery life. I'd estimate battery life to be maybe an hour using its own speaker, and several hours using a speaker. It also comes with a tuning mic which you attach to the musical instrument to tune. Tested once, worked fine, didn't use again. You can simply rest the metronome flat against the body anyway. It has a slow LCD screen. Here is where budget meets limitations. While the LCD is bright indoors, and barely function outdoors, at above 140 beats or so the metronome needle is useless. Also, the needle is green when to the left, and red to the right, which of course makes no sense when on an odd number of beats such as 3/4 time. Fortunately, there's alternative lights that are strong and distinct. Best to use the LCD screen for settings. User interface is excellent; I purposely didn't read the manual until later, and except for some tune functions the user interface was easy enough to figure out with minimal thinking. Except for the cheap LCD panel and the speaker on the bottom, this is an excellent, cheap, and functional device.

Highly recommended
I've had two of these tuners. (The first one died when it fell onto a concrete floor.) But the second lives on and is used several times daily. As a music educator, I use it with voice students, and instrumentalists - string, brass, and woodwind. The tuner is very accurate. The tone generator is a plus. And the metronome keeps a steady tempo with 2 audible tones or a flashing light when sound is not desired. The unit charges easily from the usb port on my laptop and holds its charge for several days.

Works as should
I bought this for my son and he loves it. It’s compact enough to put into his trumpet case when he goes to camp and it works very well

Not for Piano Tuning
Not suitable for piano tuning, doesn't pick up lower octave range at all.

Experience for me has been relatively good, seems to hold up for the tuning was needed. Probably not the highest tech, but works just fine for community ensembles and practices and better deal for money instead of buying separately and from different locations. Might not be a top pick for musicians, but definitely good to consider for value.
