Good, strong jack stands. No packaging issues at all. Arrived in perfect shape. Love that they have slide-in safety locks that prevent the ratchet from ever slipping during use.

I found these to be extremely sturdy, hefty, and made of good quality. For a long while I was using some standard run-of-the-mill jack stands I bought from harbor freight/autozone.I felt like my safety is #1 priority and I wanted something that looks like it will survive a nuclear blast.1. My old ones are about half the size of these big boys. These stands are thicker, wider and taller than your average stand. They look and feel expensive.2. I could hardly lift my SUV off them ground with your standard run of the mill stands. This has been no problem with these new stands.3. The safety pin gives me assurance and eases my mind that I won’t be killed under my car today.Overral if you value you or your family’s safety - these are great stands. I don’t see any issues with the welds, and the overall quality like some one star reviews. I have used these already a handful of times with great success.

As it says right on the box, 6 ton capacity which means for jack stands combined total, that's how it's always been, I mention this as it seems to be serious confusion point on other reviewers. The Jacks are fine for Cars, and Trucks. If you are working on a vehicle with a higher weight or anywhere near 12,000lbs these are not for you. If you aren't sure what your vehicle weighs don't use them. For 95% of the folks doing at home repairs these will be overkill. Please put on E-brake and use wheel chocks! You didn't save money if your dead.

Jack stands seem to be very heavy duty and well built. The only downside is their packaging. I think my 8 year old niece could have done a better job at wrapping and protecting the pieces. I have order two sets of these both sets arrived damaged. The last set arrived and the moment the UPS driver handed the package to me one of the arms completely fell out of the box.

I used this to work on a 2001 ram dodge with v8, it held the truck fine. As always, never trust any jack(s) completely, always have a secondary jack in place as a safeguard. I usually keep some of the weight on the floor jack and lowering the vehicle so most of the weight is on these jack stands. That way I never have too much weight on any one stand and the weight is evenly distributed.

These stands are amazing. They caught a falling van and an RV, saving my vehicles and probably my life. Always setup a jack stand when working on anything, even the highest quality jacks with the sturdiest ground can still fail unexpectedly. Glad I had these in place.
