Had my doubts that it'd be powerful enough for mixing large volumes of cement, but I was pleasantly surprised. Did at least ten mixes in a large bucket and it's still going strong, and because of this, so is my back.

Unfortunately I have to take a star off for the packaging. The mixer arrived damaged, but a little glue fixed it. I can recommend the product, it works very well

This tool is amazing for ease of assembly and so easy to use for me being an OAP..Just tip your mix in a big bucket and in less than 2 minutes it's ready mixed with hardly any effort. Well recommended tool. My tip.After mixing, emerse tool in a bucket of water and switch on for a short burst and tool is as clean as new. Don't forget your RCB. Highly recommended and good price. 5****

This was bought to mix tie adhesive in big bucket to save damaging drill. Did the job for first few batches but started to smoke a bit each time.. eventually had internal flames so have stopped using it. Only bought it in August 2023. This item isn't made for tile adhesive and maybe only suitable for mixing paint etc

Works well for small batches of mortar. But really struggles with anything that’s more like concrete. I had to resort to a shovel and wheelbarrow because it was slowing to the point where I feared it would burn out.But otherwise it’s been great for sand and cement mixing. Saves a lot of time. Great value for money in my opinion.

For small jobs I buy 10Kg in a bucket ready mix. Its hard work mixing by hand so I bought this paddle mixer a year ago.It doesn't have the power to mix 10Kg of sand/cement but if I did it in 2 or 3 stages of 3 to 5Kg and it just about coped. Though it did struggle a lot but got the job done, just about! 3Kg of sand/cement is not actually a lot but fine for very small jobs.Then, having got fed up of having to get the extension cord out every time I wanted to plug this in and use it, I got a DeWalt cordless paddle mixer.I didn't expect a battery mixer to be as good as a mains operated one. But oh wow! The Dewalt cordless paddle mixer didn't struggle at all with 5Kg of sand/cement. Not only did it not struggle it did a way better job of mixing. The quality of mortar the Dewalt produced was just brilliant.The difference was unbelievable, the cordless DeWalt must have about 2 or 3 times the power of this mains one.The mains one went straight down the re-cycling centre.I only wish I'd bought the DeWalt first and not bothered with this.Having said that if you are using it to mix paint I'm sure it'd be perfect.But mixing even small batches of mortar makes it work hard and produce a mediocre result.

It's been a great buy well worth the money
