Astro Tools 93812 Nano Ratchet - 3/8" Drive Head in 1/4" Ratchet Body Long

Perfect size. My favourite go to for every day usage.

The head seems a little big on the tool.Also, it came very "dry" as though no lubricant had been applied at the factory.There are "holes" in the top of head which are very easy to use to add 2 or 3 drips of oil without having to open the ratchet.Not Snap On but for the money spent, should last a number of years (don't abuse the tool by adding "cheater" bar and as with all tools, they only break when abused)

I badly needed this tool a special project, and I’m glad I was able to order it and have it in hand 2 or so days later. It seems to be well made and quite durable, especially for the price.

Used it to change spark plugs of Subaru.The long handle and the slim and small head really helps.

After reading many positive Astro tool reviews from North American user’s it was time to purchase and see how Nano ratchets stack up.I do agree with the majority of positive reviews, well finished and the 72 tooth count with relatively low back drag and smooth operation. Minimal movement in the drive assembly in fact better tolerances than some more expensive brands.The NANO name is slightly misleading as the head size is not in the same league as Nepros, Tone, Vessel, Koken or Snap On compact 1/4 bodied ratchets with 3/8th drive internals. That being said it’s a small trade off for the substantially lower price difference and the lifetime warranty offered by Astro.In summary for the price a good tool and a useful addition for tech’s who don’t want to break the bank going for a new occasional use compact head design.

Good long reach ratchet that can get into tight spaces.. Ratcheting mechanism seems smooth and chrome finish is nice. Feels good in hand and good quality..
