This is a plug n play lamp. It fit perfectly, plugged into existing harness and are nice and bright

Installation was straight forward and very easy. The hardest part was removing the old rusted screws. The lights are super bright!

Context: I had one bulb out over the license plate, but the plastic cover which actually braces the metal prongs for the bulb had busted. In the end, I needed an entirely new fitting and chose to replace both fittings at the same time. Went to a few auto parts stores looking for good deals. Cheapest I could find was $30 EACH WITHOUT THE BULB INCLUDED. In the end, the lowest price I could get locally from a big box store was $75 total before tax. Saw these on Amazon for $13. Pros: - Shipped fast. - Very easy installation. - Fit exactly even though some reviews mentioned them being a slightly looser fit than factory replacements. This was not my experience - they fit great. - Bright. - Price. Cons: - They are lightweight and entirely plastic; not sure it's a true con yet, but only time will tell. - LED's inside the fitting look cheap, but again, only time will tell if they burn out sooner than expected. Overall: I saved some serious money (around $60) by purchasing these on Amazon. I always try to support my local big box stores that employ local workers, but I couldn't get myself to overpay quite that much.

My focus has them little apologetic lights on the rear plate that kept leaking when it rained and going on and off at random and one had kinda melted. I don't need to get pulled over for something as preventable as bad lighting on my plate so I went with these LED alternatives. They go in just the same as the originals. Not bulbs I mean the whole housing. You can take out those old ones with the dim bulbs still inside them when you throw them in the trash. These fit perfectly and I'm not joking here.... These are bright like you almost wonder if they are allowed to be this bright. I personally love it no tailgaters at night anymore! Lol Seriously these are amazing. If you want a real nice clear license plate that can be read about a block away this is the answer. My coworkers were like damn dude those are bright! And that was in the early afternoon. Be bold, be Seen and if one goes bad don't even worry you got more light than most cars 2 lights have. Try these! I love em!

Bought a pair of these for my 2013 Taurus. They went in fine and work very well but I just can't understand why all these LED plate lights have to be so bright. I get that bright is nice but whereas conventional bulbs need serious surface area to light the plate up sufficiently, this could literally have had a single well pointed LED in it and it would be perfect. I'm not trying to light up the 10ft of the road behind me, just my license plate for Pete's sake. I ended up blocking off most of the clear plastic leaving but a 1/8" sliver for light to shine thru and it works out much better. But other than that minor thing, quality appears good, installation went w/o a hitch, connectors fit perfectly and they clipped onto the bumper cover just like the OEMs, so no complaints there.

Did the job. Easy and effective replacement for the OEM part.

The OEM bulb in my license plate was out so I needed a replacement. This is one of the areas that you wouldn't think of upgrading to LED but I came across this product during a search. Since I had to replace the bulb anyway, you have to basically follow the same steps to install this product and it's a fairly simple upgrade. The result is that the license plate is well lit and the LED light provides a modern look for the rear of th vehicle

Super super super bright I don't say that lightly😂. When on it lights up all of the ground behind the car.
