GOLDEN Light Molding Paste, 128 fl. oz. Jar, Professional Acrylic Paste Medium, Opaque

I can’t say enough good things about this molding paste. It’s VERY lightweight and easy to work with. Once dry, it’s quite strong and sturdy with no cracking, chipping or flaking. It also takes acrylic paint very well. I decided to go with the super large size because of the AMAZING value. I’ve had it for many months and if you close it properly, there’s no issue with it drying out.

This has great texture and holds its shape well. I use this for texture paintings when using a canvas bigger than 16x20. It’s lighter weight than the other molding compounds so the canvases don’t buckle. I have not seen anything that I have painted crack! It also is a little porous so takes paint very well. You can either mix it into the paste which doesn’t modify the color much or wait for it to dry and paint it on. This was a good price too !!

This product and brand is absolutely amazing!!! it is the only one I will use for my projects. It goes on simple and dries perfectly ….blends with paint…dye…. Sparkly Pigments and feels completely whipped.

I started with a small container of Golden Light Molding Paste and ended up using it all before finishing my painting. I loved it so much that I decided to buy the big bucket, and honestly, it’s been 2 years, and I still have half a bucket left, despite working on a lot of big pieces. It mixes really well with acrylics, and the seal on the bucket is excellent, which helps keep it from drying out. It’s perfect for creating texture in my artwork. The only downside is the strong chemical smell—it's so intense that I have to wear an N94 mask while working with it, which can be a bit uncomfortable. Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone working on large art projects, just be prepared for the odor!

The media could not be loaded. This is a very light, fluffy paste. Perfect for creating petals, florals. Takes on the colors very beautifully. Overall very pleased with it.

I use this product to prepare my canvasses. I love the texture and like being able to create texture in my work.
