Decied to buy this instead of getting even twice cheaper product, will explain further. Basically its not a bad product overall but after just few mins of use, i felt some loose, then realized the board on the top broke like in half, it looks its not even a wood, its partice board?! Coming back why decided to buy this instead of something cheaper, was the idea of buying something better, which should be build from actual wood. Right now because there is big gap now, the product is not able to provide enough of air to be really useful. Really disappointed.

Initially I thought the product looked great and I thought it felt sturdy. During the 3rd or 4th use (with my log burner) one of the handles snapped. To be fair to the company they refunded me. It looks brilliant but if you want to really buy this to use it, take care as it’s fragile.

This is a really handy item to have around if you have a woodstove or fireplace. It is very functional with nice finished wood and soft leather. It is just the right size and has a loop to hang it on the wall in a decorative fashion, while waiting to do the practical work of getting a fire going. It looks pretty durable. I think it is a good purchase. have no regrets
