This tea is full-stop breath-taking! It is fragrant, and full bodied, fruity and delightful!So imagine my horror when I found out that the "sachets" that the tea comes in are nylon plastic. You pour boiling water over nylon plastic. I prefer my tea with NO nanoparticles of microplastic, thank you.I, personally, am snipping every bag and preparing the tea loose-leaf style, then filtering the tannins out with a coffee filter. Think of all the single-use plastic I'm adding to the environment with 50 sachets of tea. I am so angry. These should not be allowed in the food chain.

My introduction to Black Currant tea was about 26 years ago, when someone gifted me a box of Black Currant tea from the Anne of Green Gables store in Canada's Prince Edward Island. I loved it! Eventually, however, this was discontinued. I found a replacement hard to find, because it seems that here in the US, Black Currant tea is not generally found sitting in your regular grocery store's tea and coffee isle, so we have to resort to buying from specialized sites like Harney and Sons or from Amazon. This, of course, leaves us wondering if the tea we will get once purchased is exactly what we're looking for. And this is even more so with something like tea, because it can be processed and flavor added in a variety of ways, so landing the one we are looking for might be tricky. Add to that people's reviews, which can vary astronomically; someone's delightful tea seems to be someone else's disgust. After much debating, it took me this long to finally bite the bullet and buy a replacement tea to the originally one that I loved.After much search, I decided to purchase this Black Currant tea and hope for the best. Some people say that the berry taste is not strong enough and others say it does not taste like Black Currant tea at all. I cannot verify what these people bought and what they ended up with, but my experience was not like that. Aside from Black Currant tea, I am very familiar with the Cassis liqueur, which is basically Black Currant liqueur. So, does this tea taste just like the brand I originally loved? Not as much, but close. However, does it taste like Black Currant? Definitely. It tastes exactly like the Cassis liqueur -- minus the alcohol and pounds of sugar, of course. If you're looking for real tasting Black Currant (Cassis) tea, this one is pretty much it. If you're looking to replace a tea you used to love with this one and hope it will taste just like it, it may or it may not. But it tastes great!

I love many of the Harney and Sons teas, and have gotten my family and friends hooked as well. I found this set while looking for the Dragon Pearl Jasmine for my sister-in-law, and realized this was an economic way to get a bunch of good teas for everyone.Paris tea isn't for me, but my mother, grandmother, and two aunts quite enjoyed it. It appears to be Lady Grey tea with an additional flavor twist.Dragon Pearl Jasmine IS for me. It's the best jasmine I have ever had, and I love it in hot or cold water. It's strong, vegetable, and does get bitter and astringent if you steep it too long, but it's sweet in the way greens and flowers can be sweet if you don't.I don't have any firsthand or even secondhand information on Blue & Yellow yet.We had a Mother's Day gathering, with some birthdays to boot. I brought these and several other Harney & Sons tins (English Breakfast, Decaf Ceylon, Hot Cinnamon, and Decaf Hot Cinnamon were some gift tins I already had on hand). The tins are so pretty that I simply threw a ribbon on each one, went around the room in order of seniority, and let each person pick his or her favorite. It was a huge hit, and I got thank-yous and rave reviews for a few weeks after.

First - Paris is one of my very favorite teas! I've repurchased it many times over, so when I was looking for a jasmine tea to try and saw that Dragon Pearl Jasmine was packaged with Paris here, it went into my wishlist. It made it to my cart when the price dropped to $14.99, what a steal for three tins of tea!Second - Dragon Pearl Jasmine is a very clean, classic jasmine tea. If you like jasmine tea, you'll like this. No frills, just high quality. Lovely, light floral scent and very clean taste.I haven't tried the Yellow and Blue yet, but it's chamomile and lavender so I suspect I'll like it just fine. If you like flavored black teas, clean jasmines and chamomile or lavender, then I suggest giving this a try.

Purchased the tea in the can for the holiday . it was the black tea version. OMG THE SMELL WHEN YOU OPEN THE CAN! and to get the treat of tasting it. But for me the black tea was a bit too strong. Even though the tea was wonderful. I handed it out as treats to co workers. Many of who came back to me asking what is that tea you gave me? It was wonderful. With no sugar added. One of my co workers mellowed it down with French vanilla creamer which should be sold in stores Soooo Good. Had to order the bigger batch of 50. Then when I saw it came in a green tea version I knew I had to get it. Mellowed and yet the same great cinnamon flavor. Yummmm. My son who is fickle even loves it which surprised me. Normally if I like it he will stay away. Lol

This is the only green tea I will drink. Green tea, albeit healthy for you, usually tastes awful. The addition of cinnamon totally masks the green tea bitterness. I can't tell the difference between Harney's green or black hot cinnamon tea. AND def has helped my cholesterol. After years of trying to lower it (w exercise, diet and even meds), has NEVER been as low as now....only difference is this tea in diet. First year thought I must be exercising more, but then second year not as much good diet and exercise and level at 174 w no meds. Awesome for me/cholesterol in the family genes. Even if just for the taste (not health), this tea is delicious!

The tea tastes pretty good. The sachets are plastic. When you put plastic tea bags in hot water, micro plastics are released. A recent study showed this. If these were typical paper tea bags, then they would be healthier for you.

My wife's favourite tea for years was Twinings Black Current tea. Twinings stopped shipping it to Canada. I ordered every kind of black current tea that I could find online. Harney and Sons black current tea is the winner, replacing Twinings in our home.

I love this tea and it arrived in 12 hours. This is the best green tea and is naturally sweet. The combo of green tea and cinnamon are both healthy and the yummy taste makes it easy to fit it into my day.

My husband has been searching for Lipton Black Current Tea for months and hasn’t been able to find it. We decided to try out this Black Current Tea and he loves it!! Thank you for supplying such a variety of products!
