Worked in my Skil 6225 corded drill
Out of the box bearings moved easily. None were stuck.I used this to restore my Skil 6225 corded drill. The motor arbor utilizes a proprietary bushing at the quill end and a proprietary bushing at the handle end. It was making an awful noise at the handle end (near the armature with the carbon brushes. Upon inspection, there was excessive play in this area and I came to the conclusion that the bushing was worn out.I bought these bearings with the idea of using them in various things (my Skil drill being one of them). The bearing was a perfect fit on the drill arbor. A little tight, but I used the original brash bushing as a guide and very light tapping to seat the bearing. A few trial and error taps, and I slowly migrated the bushing to its desired position. The diameter of the bushing was very slightly smaller than the diameter of the bearing. I had seen a You Tube video addressing this, so I did the same thing: I cut a strip of aluminum from a soda can: width about the same as the bearing, and length was the diameter of the bearing. That extra thickness seated the bearing really well.Drill was reassembled and now it works great. O BTW during the same restoration I also replaced one of the carbon brushes (reviewed elsewhere). Sorry didn't take any pictures.I'll be using these bearings in a shopvac repair in the future.

Did the job
These bearings were purchased to replace worn out ones in a Dayton fan that it is used for recirculating air in our house. The original ones lasted 10 years so took a chance with these as a replacement. They have been in about a month or so and are still running quietly. The original bearings were much tighter in the motor housing and difficult to remove versus these that I could press in by hand. I guess time will tell how long these last but so far so good.

Good and quite bearings.
I needed to repair my wireless fan and air purifier because they made noise when they were running. First, I bought and replaced several brand of abec 5 bearing on Amazon, but they make more noise because they are cheap and Chinese brand. Finally, I bought NSK's bearing, and I replaced it. My wireless fan and air purifier doesn't makes any noise. Do not buy Chinese maker. Don't waste your money.
