Excellent quality. Strong and sturdy.
I am updating this review to reflect the customer service I've received from the seller. Here's most of what I originally wrote:The picture shows the assembly of the first of these two CD units. Note the top shelf space. The quality is great, with reasonably clear instructions. It didn't take all that long to assemble the first one. However, as I was putting the shelves in it soon became apparent that something was not right. There is plenty of height for all 5 shelves to be inserted and used for their intended purpose - storing CDs. However, the holes are not lined up properly. At the bottom there is quite a gap before the first shelf. All the others leave just a small gap. And at the top, although you can fit the shelf, there is not enough room to insert your CDs.I believe this is a manufacturing fault, where the pre-drilled holes for the shelves are being drilled in the wrong place, leaving lots of room at the bottom and not enough room at the top. Each of the useable shelves can take 17 CDs (17x5 = 85 CDs) plus you could lay flat another 10 CDs on the top shelf, but who wants to do that when this was bought as a CD unit? (Making 95 CDs that can be stored, but only 85 displayed properly.Add in the second shelf unit and you get a total of 190 CDs that these two units can hold. (170 CDs properly displayed, 20 laying flat on top of each other). If the holes were drilled in the correct place (and there is enough space to do so) then you would have six shelves holding 17 CDs (6x17=102, plus the other shelf unit would make 204 CDs - which is what is advertised) - but they're not in the right place.Since that review the seller sent a replacement set. As stated above, the quality is excellent. They are strong and sturdy. The second set are perfect. They do indeed hold 204 standard CD cases (102 in each).Good customer service. They initially offered me 15% discount, then 25%. Finally, they just sent me a second set and I got to keep the original set. Incidentally, if an item is faulty and you need to return it, you do not need to pay for the return. Either contact the seller, or, if that fails, Amazon. In my case, I found the customer service from this seller to be excellent.I am therefore updating my rating from 2 stars (for the faulty ones) to five stars (for the replacement ones).

Attractive, Sturdy, Storage system but challenges your DIY skills and requires strong hands.
Prompt delivery, Well packaged and arrived without damage. Excellent instructions (be careful to use parts as numbered even though they may appear identical) and even supplied with spare parts. Some of the dowel fittings were particularly tight which makes for a fantastically sturdy construction but requires almost super human strength to insert and/or put the panels together.Once assembled the shelf pegs which should have been a simple 5 minute job took an age. The quality metal pegs were too large for the pre-drilled holes I had to use a 5mm flat blade screw driver to bore out each hole which were just a smidgen too narrow for the pegs. Time consuming and requiring great dexterity due to limited space inside the already assembled cabinet. And even then a very strong hand was needed to insert them.I would recommend using the securing wall ties. However to keep them tidy out of sight I drilled a 1cm hole through the top section, marked the wall then took the unit away drilled into the wall secured the tie using some lace (and masking tape to temporarily round the securing tape) as a guide threaded it through into the cabinet. A small pilot hole immediately below the 1cm one is where I secured the ribbon. The self-adhesive decorated screw covers provided finish the job.A very generous 10 shelves are provide with each 2 pk. So 5 shelves per cabinet. My requirement for Blu Ray, DVD storage meant only 6 could be use giving me storage (horizontal Blu Ray, vertical DVD) for 80 Blu ray/DVD of various sizes across the two cabinets. The shelving system is versatile adjusting spacing and shelf numbers to your own personal requirements.A great product but one I would say for experienced DIY’ers with some brute strength needed.!Caution: hammering in dowels can cause push out and splinter of the decorative side so ensure there is some backing to provide resistance!I would buy again and would recommend. But always good to be informed.

Good Looking Solid Storage..............
Contrary to many reviews, this does work as advertised with the top space (when used as 2 separate units) able to take cd's standing vertically. Just be careful when you have 3 sides put together you add the top and bottom panels to the correct end - that makes a huge difference as to whether the top space will hold the cd's vertically as the other spaces. I added the shelf brackets to the middle of each group of 3 holes. Also as the height is limited in each space I only put 16 cd's in each, which allows space between them for fingers to get them out. They are solidly made units and look good. Well recommended.
