I will be 100% honest! This purigen by seachem is amazing it been 12 hours and I see a huge difference I purchased due to tannins wow what a difference. I can’t recommend this enough.UPDATE!No joke. The 2nd photo. Was 5 days in. I say results as soon as 6 hrs. I highly recommend. I purchased 2 more. 1 for my father’s tank and an extra for me. Wow! Thanks

This stuff literally cleared up the water overnight. I’ve been dealing with tannis from driftwood for awhile now. I do water changes weekly & have tried active carbon with no avail. This stuff just is like magic

Clears the water up extremely well. I put this in a new tank while it was cycling to get rid of the tannins from the mopani wood. The pictures show the difference after 12 hours.

I love this stuff! It is sometimes the only thing that really makes my water invisible. Helps my fishies and works to prevent algae in the water. I usually keep some on hand at all times.

This company has excellent products, many of which I use. This media may seem pricey but it's reuseable and does work well. I was introduced to it by a fish supplier that uses it in fish shipment bags and it seems to greatly reduce DOA as it absorbs the ammonia. Keep water clean.

I've used two of these already and they cleared my tank up, but after a day it was back to brown from tannins. Going to keep doing water changes and keep trying.

Love this stuff, it works great. I always double up on how much I put in my filters. So far I can't complain.

Can’t go wrong with purigen. It’s name brand stuff. Good size for my filter
