Know what you're paying for
No one ever shows watches on a bigger wrist. My wrist is in the neighborhood of 8-8.25 inches. It's snug but it doesn't wear super uncomfortable. I could probably go out to dinner with it but I wouldn't wear it all day. I knew this going in and I have already ordered a couple links from citizen. I uploaded 3 pictures. The band, the watch in low light and the watch in brighter light. I love the sleek modern armored look of the watch. Unfortunately, in low light all that style completely vanishes into a shiny blob with a flat face. However, in the brighter light the styling shines as it is contrasted against the flat middle part with sparks of gleaming titanium jumping off of it. The band I liked it in the pictures but, when I see it in person, I get the image of those old school block style bands that were still elastic somehow and it throws the whole modern theme out the door for me. So for me with a bigger wrist, I'd say that you're paying for the 'Super' coating over the titanium, the sapphire crystal, the eco-drive and, this being my 3rd Citizen watch, I think the time keeping is really good as they have always stayed fairly accurate over large distances of time in my use cases. And then, finally, the design would be basically at the bottom. It was a cool idea but I wish they'd have thought it through a bit more. Overall though, I won't be returning it, so take that as you may also.

Beautiful and exactly what I wanted
I love the simple design and that it's not blingy. The Eco-Drive was another selling point. I've had 2 other watches that are solar rechargeable and the battery lasted about a decade in them. I was able to adjust the band myself with a paper click, tweezers and hammer. There are YouTube videos that show you how. It's actually very easy to do. And it fits me just right taking 3 bands off. The hour and minute hands do glow in the dark, but not for very long. There is no built-in light. The date is a little too small, but I'm ok with that. There isn't a ticking noise which would drive my crazy at night when the watch is on my nightstand. I looked at many watches with a metal band and simple design and this one is the best, IMO.

Sharp looking watch. Band sizing wasn’t difficult.
Just received the watch and I like it a lot. I am happy that other reviews gave me a heads up about the split collar used in the band. I had no issues sizing the bracelet to fit my wrist. I bought a $15 watch repair kit from Amazon a while back and it has paid for itself many times over. The repair kit has a pin pusher tool that works nicely. I pushed the pin out enough to grab it with pliers and puled it out. This kept the split collar from being damaged. Get everything setup and reinstall the pin back the way it came out, pin supported straight by the outer link hole and most of the inner link hole, then just tap it through the split collar and into the out link. I was a little apprehensive about the whole process but it was easy. I like the light weight titanium material used and the solar eco drive. It’s a sharp looking watch. I’m happy with my purchase.

Not for smaller wrists
Great watch but beware if your wrist is smaller than 7". Although lug-to-lug is only 40mm, the first two links are fixed in place. The width between the first flexible links is about 50mm.

Fantastic as always
As always with a Citizen watch you can expect a well built, functioning, and fashionable watch. The titanium is very durable and lightweight. I now have 6 Citizen watches and won't be my last!

Magnífico, parece uma coisa de outro mundo, um objeto alienígena, só vendo pra saber. Para remover os elos precisa de uma ponta fina, e dá para fazer sozinho. Usei o kit ifix it.

This watch has the balance of elegant simplicity, easy readability, light weight (due to the use of titanium which is a third the weight of steel), and high quality of finishing. It charges itself as long as it’s in any kind of light, so will never need a battery change. The crystal is sapphire, so it is very resistant to any kind scratching that would scratch up an acrylic or glass lens. The only cons are that the date window is small and may be difficult to read, and the watch band pins are solid steel with a compression sleeve, so resizing the band does require a pin removal tool, a strong magnifying glass, and great care to find and carefully remove the compression sleeve at the pivot point to the next link. Very fine watch tweezers are helpful. A compression sleeve in the link pivot is crucial to ensure the when the pin is reinserted, it stays put instead of sliding out. Overall, this is a great looking watch and I’m happy.

Very lightweight and comfortable watch. Looks great with business and smart-casual outfits. Excellent build quality and attention to detail. A solid addition to my collection and a great 50th anniversary model from Citizen.

As a lover of all things Titanium, I had been looking at this watch for quite a while. The Eco drives are VERY accurate time pieces, and being solar powered is nice not having to deal with batteries. Titanium is less heat conductive than Stainless steel, so it's slower to transfer heat away (or to) your wrist, meaning the watch is more comfortable to wear in colder or hotter weather than my stainless watches. Being Titanium it's also nice and light, for a decent sized watch it's barely noticeable to wear. Light shining on the watch face is a treat, and my favorite part; the different elements of the face reflect at different angles so it's always highlighting the different aspects of the watch face. Although the watch may appear 'subtle' it's one of the nicest watches in the details. The strap flats are a fine brushed finish with the angled sides being polished. It's always a pleasure to wear!
