This is the only collagen supplement i've used consistently. 1 Tablespoon to water, coffee or tea everyday and/or prior to a workout (studies suggest 10-20g increased performance/recovery and improved bone health if taking before strength training- even Type 1 verisol vs fortigel for joints). After 4 weeks I noticed my nails were growing faster and had fewer imperfections near the cuticle. At 8 weeks my skin feels less dry. Hoping for bone benefits overtime. Still early, but with no side effects or flavor and no clumping at all, I will continue with this brand.

Mixes very easily, no flavor so it can go into any drink. I take it to help with joint health and skin health. Went with this brand for the high absorption and bioavailability. Would recommend.

I don't mess around with supplements, i've got the medical knowledge to research and discriminate between details that are often overlooked, especially with collagen being the latest fad. So as any person who studies medicine properly, I start by looking at thousands of medically published scientific studies (no, not GOOGLE articles or the junk that comes up when you search). I look at the amount of people who participated in the study, I mentally note the statistical data in each study, and I only include research which provides exact formulations or brand specifics of (in this case, collagen). This product is Verisol trademarked collagen, specifically collagen peptides; the Verisol collagen is manufactured under the brand Gelita. Gelita manufactures products used in pharmaceuticals, food, and health supplements. They are one of the top suppliers of high quality collagen peptides and one of the few companies that have actually been studied and scientifically researched in regard to their specific collagen product, Verisol. There is a reason why most legitimate medical findings have conducted their studies with the Gelita brand Verisol- they have strict standards and can provide all the necessary details to the formulation of collagen. The problem with collagen is that most products are marketed as collagen without any specifics as to where it comes from and the exact formulation; it could vary from batch to batch, therefore many credible studies won't use just any random collagen, since it would obviously effect the overall results and the stats would be inconsistent. I chose this brand of collagen because all of the research and statistics were consistent across multiple studies. Like, for every study that concluded collagen provided noticeable positive results, it was ALWAYS this Verisol brand of collagen. This is significant! Especially when it comes to supplements! It pretty much stimulates your body to produce more of its own collagen. You can mix this in your drink, I actually mix in in my yogurt. I'm sure you could also put it into capsules if you didn't want to mix the powder into a drink, but i'm not sure if the capsules would effect the absorption rate because all of the studies were conducted by mixing the collagen into water or another food substance to be consumed and dissolved immediately into the bloodstream. The capsules would dissolve slower, but I don't think it would have a substantial effect. If you do put it into capsules, I would drink at least 8oz of water with them so they do dissolve quickly.

I have tried many brands of Collagen Peptides and Besha is my absolute favorite. Add to my coffee every morning and immediately dissolves. No clumping, no stomach upset and no flavor! The best product and I have been using it for several months!

The first collagen I have actually tried that works and doesn’t upset my stomach. Every other collagen I tried came in an unhealthy plastic container leeching plastic into my collagen I’m sure, however this one came in a glass jar, which I LOVE and recycle and use to make candles with. This collagen does not upset my stomach and dissolves perfectly in my coffee. The best part is over a month of taking it, I noticed my temples have filled in, which were hollowing and I know that is due to collagen loss. My overall skin appearance looks much younger and healthier, my skin has NEVER looked like This with other collagens that I took for years. I also trust this one bc I saw on ConsumerLab reports recommended it after being tested and it was way safer than the leading collagens, which I know have endured class action law suits for having high levels of heavy metals! Yuck! Give this one a try you have nothing to lose and a ton to gain!

I love the glass jar and the sound of the company so I immediately had trust in the brand but it’s just not enough for the price. The product does seem good though as saw an improvement in my nails. Maybe my spoons are too big but it ran out so quickly I’ve gone to another brand for cost effective reasons. I’m still using their jar though!
