Good and compact

Amazing powerful bass from such a slim compact unit, I am used to large bass enclosures and am VERY into my music so this 100% gets the best rating. JBL at their best

I can't find anywhere online that states anything than the rms value, but the peak is 250watt. It is surprising powerful and strong deep bass. In the boot of my Corsa D, its is quite powerful you can feel it in the seats, under the seat it feel like having a ported subwoofer of like 400 watt its really quite an impressive unit.

Good sound for the cost. I have gone through 3 subwoofers and this one, so far is the best by far.

A decent snall sub. Do not expect massive bass but it does the job

JBL are well known for their audio equipment, this is no exeption. perfect for placement under the seats and very powerful. pair this with an amp under the other seat to drive the x4 door speakers and x4 tweeters and you have an awesome setup.

Size, quality and performance, all up there and good value.

I’ve been using this subwoofer for a year in my Lexus. Amazing product. Very very recommended! Gave a big boost to the low sounds.

I bought the powered JBL sub for 2 reasons: 1- I could hide it under my seat. 2- It’s a JBL Installation wasn’t that difficult, there is enough information out there to figure out installation on any vehicle. Most of the negative feedback I read when researching which sub I should buy talked about the sub not hitting hard enough or it made little or no difference to the existing system. I think the right application of equipment like this is critical. I felt it was a good choice for me because it was going in a small Toyota pickup and I wasn’t looking for huge sustaining bass. I listen to a lot of rock and heavy metal and was looking for some kick drum thump and boost in frequencies below 120hz. This sub has a good amount of range but you’ve got to spend some time dialing it in. That’s not a bad thing, no sub sounds great just plugging it in. You have to listen and adjust, listen and adjust. I have an Alpine head unit with a pretty decent eq section, everything had to be re calibrated. After listening to the new configuration for a couple of weeks and a total of 3-4 hours of tweaking it, I can honestly say it made a big difference to my system. Much cleaner bass frequencies, especially at higher volume levels. Kick drums you can feel and an all around way better mix. It really depends on what you need it to do. Giant bass will usually require a giant sub but if you’re looking to enhance an already good sounding system in a space that’s not too big, this may be the answer. It was definitely worth the try.

This sound very nice supports the front speaker on my vw polo vivo.
