Noise level is like a quiet fan on low. Needs a sets of filters!

Update, Sept. 27: Got a very nice reply from seller, saying they'd give me a refund, but to consider certain details first, ie, I can reset the indicator light to blue by pressing on it, I can look at the filters to see if they're catching dust and I can clean them offa bit to extend their life, I can get an air quality monitor to measure how well it's working, etc, etc. However, I still don't feel comfortable, as I've owned bigger more expensive filters that seemed to help my allergies and air quality at least to some extent. This one just isn't doing anything for me. Also, I expect an air filter to last six months, even three months, not two months, as replacement filters are an extra expense. So, I've decided to go back and buy an air filter I used to have which I thought went out of business but they're back. I'm thinking you need at least a $100 air filter to get some success. So, though I have a very tight budget, I'm going for it. Maybe I just have a lot of really bad air here and a smaller air filter just isn't strong enough. Update, Sept. 24: Filter shows red light saying filter needs replacing. I've only used it about 2 months. Plus, I can't really see it is working. So, I contacted the seller just now. It's past the refund date of Sept. 5. And I just recently bought a second one for the bedroom, as I thought maybe that would help, but it didn't. So, I'm losing faith in this air filter. Here's my original review:Pros: small size so can put it on end table, attractive, easy to unpack/set up, easy to use, very quiet, no bright lights while you sleep. Cons: I'm not sure how well it works, hard to tell. I've tried two different brands of air filters so far, and they both went out of business. This is the third. None of them seem to work all that well. One was larger and it seemed to work the best, as I saw it got rid of dust on nearby table. I pay between $50 and $100 for air filters, and I'm beginning to suspect the larger ones work better, plus perhaps only the really expensive ones do all they say they do, but I can't afford to pay more and I can't even afford the $100 ones now. Plus, replacement filters every six months gets expensive. I have allergies, but can't see that any air filters are helping that much. Most air filters say they get rid of odors, too, but I've seen no evidence of this with any air filters I've bought. So I'm not sure what to think. Others seem to like air filters. I like things about this one, including it's low price, and I'll keep using it hoping it's doing something, and it may be, but sometimes I think it's working and other times I think it isn't. It may be, I just can't tell. So, if you want to try it, go ahead, as it has a lot of nice features and a good discounted price. I don't want to knock it, because it may be working better than I think.

Wish there was a filter life indicator light, otherwise great product.

was hesitant about this because of how much less it is compared to others but it has two hepa filters and filters out all the crud great. sleep mode is barely noticeable with it right next to the bed. I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for an affordable air purifier

I was surprised by the size of this filter I really thought it’ll would be a bit smaller but it’s alright as it fits on the shelf above the bed. One of the things I read in some of the other reviews before buying was that it’s really quiet and most people use it on the high level instead of sleep because it doesn’t bother them. Let me tell you when it’s on sleep you hardly hear it but on high it’s a soft comforting background noise. I’ve had it on ever since I got it and when I turn it off it even bothers me by how quiet my room is and now it’s purpose is a whit snooze machine. I’ll be honest with you I didn’t notice a different in air quality but it wasn’t that bad to begin with. I bought this because I suffer from allergies and hoped it would help with the occasional waking up with itchy throat and runny nose (especially if I sleep with the window open) since I bought this I have slept like a baby but also haven’t had any problems with allergens at least not in my room. I also think it’s worth noting I bought this along side an allergen spray (removes allergens from air, surfaces) I got them around the same time and use them together. I’ve noticed a difference but can’t say if it’s because of the filter the spray or a combo of both but I no longer suffer from allergies at night so that’s a win in my book.

Why is the red light staying on after I changed the filters for the 1st time ?? Is the machine still working with the red light on? How do I get the red light to turn off? I have used this for 6 months and really like how it cleans the air.

Works great, not any noise other than the quietest you could expect. Sleep with it on our headboard, perfect for the bedroom or a nursery.

I bought these to combat the cigarette smoke in my apartment building that seeped into my flat. It significantly reduced the amount and intensity of the exposure. It also keeps the dust down. The filters need changing about every 2 -3 months unless you operate it on sleep mode. Quiet enough for the bedroom even on high. Soft, white noise. And I have ultra sensitive hearing. I tried vacuuming the surface of the filters to prolong their lives. Not sure if it helped. The machines won’t run if the filters need changing. Good safety feature. The company will send 2 free replacement filters if you write a review and provide your order number and model number. That is really nice.
