STOP IT! These are so freaking cute. I picked these up for my almost 2 year old nephew for Christmas and I absolutely can't wait to give it to him and his super nerdy parents. Such a great way to introduce kids to a great fandom!

Unfortunately, my husband made me give these to our 2.5 year old son for Christmas. They were supposed to be for me dude.Well, anyway, 2.5 must have sensed their greatness because it’s the one present under the tree that he got into early.I walk in the living room and he runs up to me and exclaims “[Name] play wiff all da things!!” And lo and behold, I see parts of The Fellowship (+Arwen) scattered across Middle Living Room.Being Christmastime, we also had our Little People nativity set up. There’s no shepherd in that set even though there are 3 Magi and a sheep, so Gandalf makes a nice addition to the nativity. However, I don’t know if he’s cut out to be a shepherd given his treatment of Fool-of-a-Took and Mr. Flee-for-your-lives.My understanding is that shepherds are patient and gentle, but I could be wrong.Anyway, these figurines seem to be good quality. Not the softer plastic of past Little People sets, but apparently that is preferable to my 7 month old teething drool monster.We’ll see how these hold up to abuse. I may have to relocate them if 7m starts causing damage once he has both upper and lower teefers.Would have loved to see Samwise, but we probably wouldn’t have been able to afford to buy it if it contained the whole Fellowship.Although, I’m sure we could eat Cup of Noodles for a while go save up.Also hope they come out with Star Wars. There are Frozen Little People, so maybe it’s possible.

Clearly aimed at older collectors of figures and such. I can't talk to the playability or durability of these figures as we refused to take them out of the box. Trust me. The box is majestic and the presentation is superb for something supposed to be for toddlers. I got this as a gift for my wife as she is a LOTR collector, and we were blown away by the art and quality of this set. Well worth $30 for a collector. Especially when you see some of the other sets of little people in the same vain *the office, avatar* only come with 4 figures, this one just seems more complete. 11/10 would recommend.
