This is very sturdy and easy to assemble. The directions were as clear as your standard Ikea directions. Parts are labeled so pay attention to directions.The planks are attached to each other with a velcro strap so they go down in seconds and attach firmly. We used this with a memory foam mattress without a box spring. Spacing on the planks is sufficiently close to work well with this.Once assembled, it is rock solid. No noise, no movement.The only thing I would change is it would be nice if the legs were set a few inches back from the edge. They come straight down from the corners and edges an it is easy to stub your toes.

Assembled fast. The boards are a little weak, in that they bend about 1" in the middle when laying on the bed. (1 am 180 lbs on Casper Hybrid Mattress) They are about 4 1/2inches apart, not 4". My main concern is that the legs are at the extreme edge of the frame, and I have already hit them with my toes several times - ouch. A fix was to buy bumpers to wrap around them, which ruin the simple look of the bed. A better design is to have these legs inside the frame about 6 inches, so be aware.There are also no mounting options for a headboard. You will need to improvise if you want to use one with it.

This is a good king size frame for the price. I like the storage space underneath, but I'm 5'5"and it's a little too tall with our 12 inch mattress. Also, the bed was sagging and moving too much, so my husband got plywood, in two pieces, to put over the slats and under the mattress and now it feels sturdy and super comfy. I believe my hubby had to drill a couple of his own holes in parts of the frame to get it to fit together correctly. We're very happy with it now, but it took a little customization to get there. Worth the price if you're up for a little customizing.

This is the second bed I’ve bought fromAmazon that isn’t the size it claims to be. The description clearly states that it fits the mattress to the end of the frame which is not true. There is a large space between the end of the mattress and the frame. My favorite thing would be how in the dark because of this I’ve slammed my shin into metal, causing a small fracture and extreme pain. I don’t know why these descriptions and sizes are inaccurate but after putting TWO beds together I will not be doing this again and will be stuck with this bed.

Easy to assemble, Amazon delivery was great, I don't have a vehicle to pick up. Squeaky when moving around on bed.

Have had it for about 4 months and it now squeaks with every turn. I am about 130lbs and can’t imagine what it would be like under actual weight. Definitely not worth the price point.

I like the overall strength, easy of assembly, height is good but the was its built it’s difficult to install a headboard. Had to customize a bracket to fit my king headboard.
