As a female solo traveler and someone preparing to move abroad for the first time, this book was the perfect book to help motivate me in this process. I could relate to much of what was discussed in the book, and I feel more at ease knowing that much of what I feel in regards to this process is entirely normal. I would definitely recommend this book to solo female travelers/ aspiring solo travelers!

Good information for women traveling alone

Anne Malambo provides an excellent overview of general and specific things for the female or femme traveler to keep in mind, which really hits the spot given that travel is still limited due to the pandemic. Although I consider myself an experienced traveler, I still found many new tips and websites that I'm itching to apply to my own travels. In fact, my partner bought the book for me as a gift, since he knows I've always loved traveling! Also, while Malambo is an excellent wordsmith, breathing the community and wonder that the expat finds herself in, Malambo also uses her book as a platform to uplift other women. The featured vloggers, bloggers, and world-travelers also provide many different perspectives on traveling the world. For anyone who is currently planning to travel, who misses travel way too much these days, #Passportready will be a source of inspiration.

I loved readying this book! Ended up binging it in one night! It has everything you would need to know before heading out on your first solo trip, AND has amazing tips for well seasoned solo travellers too! I learned so much!

Insightful, funny, interesting and useful are just a few words to start. I wish I had this book before I took off on my own adventure! For anyone new to travelling or fully experienced you will gain so much value from these pages. For the newbie, you’ll gain so many knowledge bombs it’s priceless and for the seasoned traveller, you’ll read the stories and have little flashbacks of your own journeys of discovery. Regularly taking me to places in my own memories, I thoroughly enjoyed this read and for planning of my next trips, I’ll be sure to take on board the useful information that I never knew or hadn’t considered before. Either way I now have the perfect companion for all of my solo travels!

As an avid traveler, I went into this book not knowing what I would gain from it. But within the first few pages, I couldn't put the book down! There's so much you gain as a woman from taking a trip solo and this book reminds me not only of the importance of solo female travel — but all the tips, advice, and stories I couldn't always articulate. A must-read for every woman, especially those looking to start traveling again soon. 10/10 recommend!

Such an inspiring and uplifting book filled with amazing stories from strong women. Fantastic advice on travel, complete with very useful resources for those thinking about spending time abroad. Beautifully executed with a very unique angle . I would highly recommend this book and thoroughly enjoyed reading it from start to finish. It has a magical quality of being both captivating and Informative.
