I don't know what other people in the comments problem was. I followed directions. I made sure the unit was level. Also I let the unit sit for 24 hours before plugging in. The deepfreeze is working perfectly. I think the major problem with other people was not reading. You have to let the unit sit before plugging it in to ensure the unit works properly. The unit is light and very easy to move around. I like it and it's definitely worth the buy

This small freezer has much more space than we anticipated! Easy to set up and use! Great for small condos and apartments when space is limited. Customer support is fantastic. First unit had an issue probably due to shipping. The company responded immediately to exchange the freezer. They went above and beyond. The Amazon label for UPS shipping was not correct as it would cost us to shop back. This company quickly responded with a new FedEx label that they paid shipping costs. I will continue to give Hanai my business whenever possible. Thank you!

It freezes items quickly and they stay frozen. The lid is conveniently located on the top and the foot print small for our apartment. It is attractive and is very quiet. I would recommend.

Quiet running, easy access lid, stays really cold and not very heavy, 46 lbs.

Stopped freezing after 5 months of use. For no apparent reason, it started to keep the temperature slightly above 32°F, even on maximum, which is not suitable for freezing.UPD: The seller replaced the faulty unit

I am surprised at the number of negative reviews, which I just read after receiving the chest freezer five days ago. Particularly since mine doesn't work correctly either. On any setting it only cools to 58-60 degrees. Hardly as advertised.Another frequently seen complaint is about the plastic hinge covers arriving broken, as were mine.Of note, the Amazon delivery man left it laying on its side at my front door. I don't know how many hours it sat there. That may have been a reason for its operating problem. Amazon delivery doesn't ring the door bell at my home.Cute and undoubtedly an item I would have loved to have had, the situation is a hassle. Third party seller has offered to ship another, but so far they think I am going to package ? a chest freezer and pay to ship it back to them?

Seller is fantastic, the package was delivered to the wrong house, but the seller replied fast and took care of me. Freezer is exactly what I wanted.
