RESULTS, better than expected, Suddenly I have a massive LCD TV display. A+A+A+
OK, a few things and read on for important details. First it IS worth it, I got the 5D because even though I'm on a serious budget, I decided to get the best I could possibly get, and out of ALL the listings on amazon with these types of screens, this one seemed to have the most promise. Possibly just great marketing, and I can NOT compare this to other ALR screens, BUT I can say the viewing range is GREAT with a very bright projector, I have a true 1500 ANSI and this looks like an LCD TV. 130 inches... viewing it from a far back side, or the middle, or even very far and almost parallel with the screen. It's shocking how great this screen is, much better than I had thought it would be. SO I 100% believe it's much higher quality than others. The SMELL... YES, but only near by, it still smells like someone's grandma is in the room. It's like a plastic but also a bit of a perfume, very unusual to be honest, but if your there more than 5 min, you can't smell it anymore because your used to it. It's not enough to give a headache or anything, I really don't care about it because of the great picture I have to look at, and I am sure that smell will go away, even if it takes a month it's worth it. REMEMBER, your doing a DIY screen of high quality for a fraction of the cost. The material is very high strength, durable, and thick. I was expecting a thin see through fragile material, but no, this is a stretchy thickish opaque reflective material, you don't need stretching pliars and can pull by hand to stretch it over a frame like a painting. I made a massive wood frame with a center brace. I got 2, 2 x 12 pieces of plywood, split them in half on table saw, then beveled them. Put together like a regular artist stretcher frame. Making the frame can be done in any different way, so maybe you can figure out a way that works for you. Or get a friend to help.I USED THE VELCRO METHOD. I got 3M $18.00 velcro from LOWES, and cut them in pieces, you need MANY MANY pieces and spread out evenly all the way around before even sticking any of them. Start from middle top to bottom, then middle left, right. Since the material stretches, the first velcro you stick you start higher than other side.Since the piece I got came in size 120 x 72, I made a screen that was 118 x 70. Only giving an inch to stretch on the sides, because it's stretchy material, however this is very risky and gives little space to stretch to the back side. I got an extra inch on my screen but would still advise allowing more space for someone not familiar with stretching frames. The velcro sticks strong to the material, and the fresh clean lumber, surprisingly. And once it's all stretched tight in a warm temperature, you wait.... and see if it sags or you need to tighten it, make it hotter or colder in the room. Once you have determined that it's at a good stretch, you staple in-between the velcro pieces. IF YOU WANT, but that's only for a long term strength, I am still in the process of waiting and might just leave it as velcro and update if they ever detach. It's very forgiving material, not as fragile as it seems, wrinkles stretch out with ease. but still just use a cloth underneath when stretching to avoid scratches. I would buy a back stock of these just to have for future, best ever result.

Throw Your Flat Screen TV Away and Watch TV at Home Like You're at the Cinema
The media could not be loaded. I recently upgraded my home entertainment setup with the "Elite Screens Designer Cut Series, 135-inch 16:9, 8K / 4K Ultra HD Ambient Light Rejecting DIY Raw Projector Screen Material", and it has completely transformed my viewing experience. This isn't just an upgrade; it's a revolution in how I enjoy movies, sports, and gaming at home.First off, the sheer size of this screen is breathtaking. At 135 inches, it dwarfs any traditional flat screen TV and brings the immersive experience of a cinema right into your living room. The 16:9 aspect ratio is perfect for most content, and it feels like I'm right there in the scene. The quality of the material is top-notch. It's evident that Elite Screens didn't cut any corners here. The ambient light rejecting technology is a game-changer, especially in a well-lit room. It maintains vibrant colors and deep blacks even with daylight streaming in, something my old flat screen could never achieve.Installation was surprisingly straightforward for such a premium product. The DIY aspect might seem daunting at first, but the material is very user-friendly, and the sense of accomplishment after setting it up is quite rewarding. It's clear that this screen is designed with the enthusiast in mind, offering a perfect balance between professional-grade quality and DIY flexibility. But where this screen truly shines is in its performance with 8K and 4K content. The level of detail is astonishing. Watching 4K movies, I could see textures and details that were completely lost on my previous screen. And with 8K content, it's like looking through a window rather than watching a screen. In conclusion, the Elite Screens Designer Cut Series has exceeded all my expectations. It's not just a screen; it's an upgrade to your entire home entertainment system. If you're serious about your viewing experience and crave that cinematic immersion, this screen is a must-have. Say goodbye to your flat screen TV and welcome the future of home cinema with open arms.

Great screen
Looks very good, packaged well. few wrinkles all went away after stretching over frame. Is somewhat thin so anything against the film can is visible (i had wood frame that the screen laid against and could see bumps). Made some adjustments and now looks very nice.

Outstanding Product
Sadly the freight company bent the tube creating stretch marks in the fabric. However this product is so good with a little patients, a hairdryer and tensioning across the frame ALL the stretch marks came out. This is truly a superb product.

The smell is horrible!
Its a great screen but it stinks. I dont know if this applies to all of the screens as I just have the cinegray but its horrible. I dont have a sensitive nose either.Update a year later: Still stinks. The only way I will be able use it is outside.

Not exactly as advertised.
The roll I received is 117 inches wide, making 135" viewing area possible only if it used edge to edge. If you plan to attach it to a frame or use a border, the size of the viewing area will be diminished. Adding a 2" border to the material will reduce the viewing area to just under 130 inches. Stretching it will provide some additional viewing area but you run the risk of damaging it in the process. If you need a true 135 inch screen, it would be better to purchase the 150" material and trim it to fit your project.
