This bed is simply very well designed. It comes flat packed in its own bed head. Every piece is perfectly slotted into its place. Once assembled it looks the part and it performs its function well - providing a sturdy base for a mattress (not included).The assembly is easy to follow with a simple instruction manual that guides you through the process. Each piece is clearly labeled with a sticker so you don't get confused between different parts.Once constructed it is clear that the bed is very sturdy. It has a steel frame and solid, flat wooden slats that won't bend under your weight - which I think is rare at this price point.The bed looks very good for the cost, perfectly passable in most households - the bedhead could perhaps be made from a softer material but that's a nit pick and I think you'll struggle find a better overall package for what you're paying.The manufacturing quality is good, once again, for the price point, but here's where I found problems. The bed is designed down to the finest detail which leaves only a small margin for error for the manufacturers to work within.Mine arrived with a small error in its construction, which made it impossible to assemble. I recommend checking your bed before the return period is up to ensure an easy swap for a new one if necessary. This what I had to do but Zinus didn't quible and made the process simple.Even then, assembling was somewhat of a challenge because I had to slightly force some of the parts together because the tolorences were slightly out but I guess this is a reasonable trade off when you're paying what you're paying.All in all a great product that I'll probably buy again when I need a new bed, or I might try one of the other Zinus models.

What can I say. this King Size bed is brilliant the design is genius and very easy to put together 20 minutes tops mind you I used a battery ratchet driver for screwing it together which made a short job of it, when built it is very solid and heavy this bed isn't going anywhere, no squeaks or movement from the bed at all because it is so solid, I will recommend this bed to anyone in fact everyone who needs a solid well built and thought out bed, my friends and family have said when they need a new bed this is what they are going for, in fact my brother who is a big guy is going to order one next month because he's putting his old bed into the guest room, so if you need a good solid bedyou won't do any better than this one.

The bed comes in a box. Easy to assemble. The upholstery quality is okay but the padding could have been better. The height is not too much so you can't put stuff under bed. It's reasonably okay bed. Ordered king size. It's stable and seems strong enough to stay in place.

Just wow, Blown away with this companies furniture! They must have a Genius level Designer on their pay roll 😳 Im an engineer to trade myself and with teenage kids now wanting double beds we found ourselves buying four with four simba mattresses 😩 anyhows, we bought one grey velvet sled bed from wayfair cost around £600 not so great quality with cheap plastic clipped half slats! one £250 fromArgos upholstered grey, it was ok but again those plastic clipped half slats ! then we purchased this Zinus and another Metal industrial zinus bed-frame from Amazon and while building these was an engineering treat as the ingenuity involved in their design was like nothing else i have ever seen, These guys would put Ikea best heads to utter shame, This whole bed frame is stored in that head board, Its all metal welded steel that unfold like a swiss army knife, its like a big kids mechanno set of a bed, and once built its utterly solid, best money we spent on bed-frames i can assure you, The slats are full sized premium plywood, they even thought of adding rubber across the metal cross brace to dampen noise, the whole bed can be built with an 8mm allen key “supplied”, my only criticism and it more a compliment is that these frames are so square and perfectly measured that they are presuming everyone has a flat surface to put the bed on ! so the middle leg supports are not adjustable and if you find they do not touch your floor, well your floors uneven and i suggest you build it up with hardboard spacers, Zinus take great pride in their product and you will see that when you open it and find a welcome card praising you for choosing them and a little wrenched allen key to speed up your building and a bundle of spare bolts in case you lose one, Still blown away that this company can put a whole double bed in one 5x4 box ! best money i ever spent on a bed frame 😎

This is the standard against which all other flat pack furniture should be judged. We’ll packed, easy to assemble, tools (great ones) included, clear instructions and once built very sturdy and good looking.I needed a narrow platform bed to fit a small child’s bedroom. I could not be more happy with my purchase especially with the discount off rrp. I will be looking at items from the same company in future.

What an incredible bed. Super strong, really easy to assemble and it’s genius how compact it is. The bed has been up now for about a month and any future beds I’ll need will all be from the same manufacturer. So much better than IKEA beds and will last much longer.

Easy to constuct, clear instructions.Feels very stable, love it. I was slightly hesitant reading other reviews, but absolutely glad I purchased this bed.My only gripe, is the under-bed clearance for storage is just 1cm shy of most storage boxes/drawers. Not worth taking a star off but worth considering if storage space is needed.
