Good quality for the price
The kit arrived very quickly, in fact it took only two weeks to arrive in California. The package arrived in worrying condition, the cardboard box all bent and smashed. However, the glass was packaged very nicely in styrofoam and bubble wrap and was totally undamaged, except for a tiny crack in one of the vacuum barbs. The glass was a little scratched, and some had grime and dirt in it. However, no signs of breaks or leaks or large cracks were observed. The glass feels thick and heavy, which is a very good sign. However, some of the glass joints were bad, with obvious bubbles which could lower strength. However, this is expected for a product only $40. A similar set up of American made glass would cost upwards of $100.Overall, this is a fantastic product for the price. I highly recommend it to anybody getting started with chemistry.

amazing for the price and came very early.
First off, it said that this would deliver Apr 17 - may 7. I was okay waiting, but it arrived Apr 12th. caught me off guard, great delivery time. the glass is super sturdy and seems high quality. I tested out the condenser column and water runs through it fine (I'm using a water pump and bucket of water). the tubing is good but i chose to use a different type of tubing instead. the clamps are good for low heat application, consider getting metal clamps for high heating. to note: I don't know if this is normal but when you use the vacuum adapter the 250 ml collector round bottom flask seems to be tilted a little bit. shouldn't be a problem although. what else you will need for distilling: 2 stands and 2 clamp, your chemicals or oils, a heat source (I'm using a hot plate and a oil bath), grease to smooth the openings (this is important as for the glass will expand and compress with heats, and it may stick to the other glass), and a water source. overall GREAT product

Fantastic Value
Incredibly good glassware for the cost. I honestly was expecting nothing more than a conversation piece based on the price and it being shipped all of the way from China, but the glassware was more than satisfactory. Obviously no cracks, but there were also no bubbles or swirls, something I've grown to expect in Chinese lab glass. Joints are well ground and the pieces have a heavy feel. I'll certainly use this vendor again!

Not Perfect but FANTASTIC for the Price
First of all, I have a B.S in Chemistry as well as experience with scientific glassblowing:This is an incredible deal! The kit was exceptionally well packed (though there was a very metallic smell and I felt bad for the workers who have to apply all the tape! There is A LOT of tape so use a scalpel or xacto knife to unbox) and arrived way ahead of when I expected. I was surprised to see the thermometer appears decently well calibrated and that the overall glass work is good with TWO EXCEPTIONS:1) there was a slight bubble in the side wall of one of the round bottom ground glass joints2) the condenser outer tubing is entirely too big and requires more water than it shouldBut given the SIGNIFICANT discount of this set compared to what you would pay for an American or German equivalent, these flaws are easily forgiven.

Great stuff.
Has good value and a good thickness for the price. 30 dollars is extremely cheap for heavy walled flasks, adapters, 2 thermometers, and 200mm condenser. Slight scratches on some glass and some had a crack. Customer service is incredible and sent replacement glass and some extra k-clips right away. 10/10 will shop again. Glass did smell very much of chemicals, but that went away after a simple wash. Arrived to my door in 11 days.

Great budget distillation kit
Great entry level distillation kit. Arrived before tracking said it would. No pieces broken. Additional items you may want to consider purchasing to use a distillation colum below. Some fitment issues with the flask joints
I have a few problems with the ground glass joints on the 24/40 distillation setup I received. The ground glass joints that attach the still head to the condenser and the condenser to the vacuum take-off adapter seem to fit fine, but the connections to both of the round bottom flasks is where I have some problems. Both of these male joints stick out from the top of the female joints on the flasks just enough to impede in the Keck clips ability to properly secure the round bottom flasks to the take-off adapter and the still head pieces. The connection seems alright initially, but once any amount of liquid is added the flasks, the Keck clip WILL fail and the flask WILL fall out of the apparatus (which is very dangerous if you're running a distillation). They're all marked as 24/40 standard taper ground glass joints, but the color of the markings on the flasks differs from the markings on the distillation glassware, which suggests that they're from a different manufacturer. This may explain why the still head, condenser and take-off adapter all fit just fine (same markings), but not so much with the joints on the flasks (different markings). With that being said... I did expect some issues when I ordered this kit due to the substantially low price, and when it comes to cheaper glassware, the integrity of the ground glass joints is usually the first thing to go. And aside from the fitment issues, the setup is pretty on par for what one could expect for the price.P.S. The thermometer is actually reasonably accurate, within a degree or two.
