AliMed BARIATRIC Bedpan, Green, 1200LB Weight Capacity, 711255 (Case of 1)

My husband had a broken hip due to cancer, and was in a lot of pain. Using a regular bedpan was out of the question. This pan is flatter, and you can put it under from the front without having to make the patient turn completely over. Wrapped in a chux, it was as comfortable as a bedpan can be, and relatively easy to clean. The hospice nurse told me not to use it because it didn't look like it would hold enough. It holds a lot more than it looks like, and the regular bed pan was just too painful. The nurse ended up being convinced it was better.

Good size, strong. Line it with commode liner, and you don't have to clean the bedpan, just take plastic liner off and dump the whole thing in the trash.

Nice size and comfort for my 82-year-old mom.

The only reason to have this bed pan is evident, either you use this or your wife loves changing sheets and washing. I had an unexpected cardiac event and needed this. When using it it goes more toward your feet than you think and sprinkle baby powder along entire rim. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was it's "sky high" next day delevery charge.

Easy to sit on but very hard to clean

This bed pan is the best bed pan I have ever used. It is large enough to hold all my urine. Regular bed pans are just to small. Will buy again!!!

She says that due to the curvature if this, it makes it much more comfortable.

This product is very durable and worked very well for my grandma. She is not very strong but she was able to use it by herself.
