We liked that it came from a private farm owner at a comparatively reasonable price, the herbs have a fresh full flavor.

This particular brand of the tea for a lack of a better word is a good choice, it is not the best choice but considering that the other choices available do not taste as potent and can only be steeped once and are equally expensive I'd say this is a good choice. Would I get it again. May be if I still can't source my first choice I will get this one.

It arrived vacuum sealed which already spoke to the quality and freshness of this tea. When brewed it was very pleasant to drink; although, I will admit I have not tried Jiaogulan Tea before so I have nothing to compare it to. However, the flavor is very deep and feels satisfying to drink.This particular bag also makes a lot of tea, so I would recommend saving a large portion in an airtight container to prevent it from degrading in quality. Aside from the supposed health benefits of Jiaogulan tea this is also just very nice to drink. It's a very soothing herbal tea that has just enough complexity and flavor in each sip that keeps me going back for more.

So, I'm giving this 2 stars only because it taste good. However I can see that there is very little saponin content in this brand. When you pour hot water on real Jiaogulan, it forms soap like bubbles, like a lot of them. The primary health benefit from Jiaogulan are from those saponins! Disappointed that I spent more on organic, and it's not as healthy as the other stuff that isn't organic. That's a shame. Would not recommend. Look for the soapy bubbles. Wash your jiaogulan tea, but don't wash it till all the bubble are not forming anymore.

Good product, though a bit expensive, its clean and feels good!

I suppose it's important to note this isn't tea, but a different plant altogether, that's associated with health benefits by some. The bag came vacuum sealed to perfection, and upon opening I could see some very high quality dried plant in the bad, the scent is very earthy and also reminds me a bit of some oolong teas before brewing. After brewing, it's more unique and different from tea but still certainly palatable in my view. I would definitely recommend it as it seems like a genuine and high quality product.
