Very good sound for a small speaker
Finally installed them! Very good sound for a small speaker! Solid structure and installation brackets.Connected to my 6Ohm Home Theater System, even though speakers are 8Ohm. Highly recommend!

Great for my project
These are great for what they are. I have a pair for my Bluetooth speaker system and a pair for rear surround in my house. They are not stand alone but work great for their intended purpose and are cheap as dirt....with wall mounts.

overall pretty good
i bought this for use in my home office paired with a small amplifier to improve the audio from my laptop. They sound pretty good but i find i have to crank up the volume some to get the mid range to come out... for my liking this means mounting them on the wall to get a little more distance rather than putting them right on my desk. They sound pretty good but obviously your not going to get lots of bass out of such small speakers but as full range speakers they are good. The connectors suck as many have suggested. i used 24awg wire and found i had to strip off a long section of wire, fold it up onto itself twice and twist to get enough diameter to fit the connector well. All in all they are good for the money. included mounts make aiming them easy. I may buy another pair for my kitchen.

Decent speakers. Use better wire terminals Dayton!
They work and sound pretty good. I'm using them as rear channel speakers on my surround sound. My only gripe, which others have had as well, is that the terminals are pretty much crap. No matter how I put the wire in it seemed to have connection problems. I had to do a lot of wire wiggling to get the speakers working and then hope they don't get bumped and lose connection again.

Sound Quality
Sound quality is worth a ton right up there with bose with out the cost.

they work great as surround speakers for our home theater
they work great as surround speakers for our home theater. we have a fairly small living room so we don't need large speakers.

Sound great, need better speaker terminals.
This set of speakers surprised me for their price! I have an older stereo receiver rated at 100 watts per channel, and I can push these speakers quite well with no audible distortion. You NEED a subwoofer in order to have full range. These speakers are much more finicky when tuning them into a 2.1 system. For me, I crossed my subwoofer at 150hz and adjusted volume to my room accordingly, as well as set my bass and treble settings on the receiver to no gain. After starting here, I adjusted bass and treble accordingly. If tuned well, there is a smooth transition between subwoofer and speakers, creating a nice, clean full range. For around $40, these speakers are nice, and fill my 12x14 room with clear, powerful sound! Only reason I am not giving these speakers 5 stars is that the speaker terminals are cheap, and hard to work with. I used 14 gauge speaker wire and it was difficult for the wire to hold in place. If Dayton Audio improved the speaker terminals, these speakers could not be beat for the price. They take more time to tune than other satellite speakers, but if tuned right, they are a great bang for the buck.
