Thais product is a replacement battery charger. The original has been excellent and charges the batteries really quickly

I purchased 2 of these batteries while they were on a special discounted price and a Greenworks G40UC4 40V Fast Charger. The reason I bought 2 batteries was to allow me to charge a battery while using the other. The batteries recharge fully using the fast charger in under 30 minutes while a larger 4ah would take 60 minutes but last longer and was more than twice the price. You do need to bare in mind that once the battery has been used it will not charge straight away as the charger recognises high temperature. The battery can be placed on the charger and the built in fan cools the battery in 15 mins before recharge starts.My only slight complaint is the time it takes the batteries to run out of charge. I also purchased the GD40LM46SP 40V Lawn Mower 46cm Self-Propelled on a special price from Amazon and the battery lasts 15 minutes if I cut and use the self drive. The mower by the way is brilliant (see my other review). I have a large sloping uneven garden so really I should have bought 3 batteries or a larger AH rated battery but that was costly. All in all a great system that I would highly recommend.

These 4ah batteries usually cost around £140-150 each, to find 2 for £220 was surprising so I immediately got a couple as I use Greenworks 40V tools exclusively in the garden. The leaf blower tool is the most power hungry of all and it lasted well over 40 mins on a single charge. I was able to mow my entire lawn - a 30 minute job easily as well. I love the greenworks range I just wish they were a little cheaper to buy, I’ve read that batteries can last as little as 2 years but my old ones have already lasted 3 years. My 2.5ah batteries do get used more than the 2ah ones as they seem to have a bit more ‘oomph’ as well as lasting a lot longer on a single charge, I don’t recharge until almost empty, recharge as soon as they have been used and remove the batteries from the charger as soon as the green light goes constant (flashes when charging) to try to give them the maximum life possible and so far it has done the trick. Hopefully these batteries will last at least 3/4 years.

I made the mistake of buying several Greenworks tools, attracted by the idea of having the same battery for multiple tools. It was an expensive mistake. The tools are decent enough, but the battery life is terrible and the batteries are expensive to replace, in some cases more than the tools themselves. The batteries only last 15-20 minutes between charges, so unless your lawn is tiny it's necessary to buy several to complete the job, and they conk out after 3-4 years.Greenworks UK customer service Handy was largely apathetic that a customer with multiple tools might be concerned about their very expensive lithium ion batteries conking out. They blamed me for storing the batteries in a shed rather than indoors and offered no remedy. I will not be buying Greenworks products again.

Haven't used it yet, but sure it will be ok, previous one's have.
