Just as good as ridged

The body separated from the cross beam that slides on arms of 300 power unit. Tried to put in vice and weld and brace it. But it’s junk and won’t close the gap. Can’t return it because we tried to fix it ourselves. We needed Vic roller badly. Was in the middle of a small project. Ended up buying a ridgid roller for $900. Just pay the money and get name brand. The pipe cutter we got from steel dragon is great and can put ridgid cutting wheels in for replacement.It’s been over 2 years now and I still never got a response from steel dragon about Vic grover splitting apart. I’m disappointed that they never tried to make things right with me. I’m a small contractor in oil and gas business. I have 13 Ridgid 300s and countless 700s. I’m not your average customer who buys 1 and done. If they did nothing for me they damn sure aren’t going to do a damn thing for joe homeowner!!

The tool isn't good for schedule 40 pipe grooving it doesn't hold the pipe and it rolls out, it works somewhat on thin wall and copper. I will need to purchase a Ridgid toll for the next job. For the job I just did I had to purchase ready made grooved fittings.Bob Cicciari

It only works for 1-1/4 "to 2", does not work up to 12 inches as it says the announcement SDT 915 Manual Roll Pipe Groover 1-1/4" -12" Fits RIDGID ® 300 Ridgid
