Ciottone's Disaster Medicine 2nd Edition

This book covers it all! We used this book as a text for a graduate level disaster medicine/response course but there's so much information inside. I wish I had purchased it instead of opting for a rental. Covers the basics of disaster medicine and the moves into specific types of incidents like train derailment, hostage situations, active shooters, natural disasters and many, many more. Excellent book for anyone who wants to know more about disaster response!

Really good disaster medicine book. I prefer this one to the others out there, but it needs to be supplemented with PDR Guide to Terrorism, Response to Mass Weapons, and some of the military books on disaster and tactical medicine, if you are interested in passing the test for the Board Certification in Disaster Medicine. Any Disaster Medicine Specialist should read this or at least read some of the books and articles written by the authors and contributing authors.

The inside of the book does not look as if it's been opened but the outside bonding has been through war.

Very thorough and encompasses a topic very well that is past due to be addressed
