Mary Kayat Play Eye Crayon (Purple Smoke)

This was a re-order, so obviously I like it. Perfect smoky color and easy to use. A little hard to sharpen, even with the right tool.

This is a beautiful addition to my makeup collection. Absolutely Lovely!!!

It’s a nice color but a bit more see thru than I would have liked. It’s pretty on my eyes and I will continue to use it :)

This is a great item & probably a vintage item! So happy I could still get this!

I would give this product a five star rating BUT once you use the initial point up, I can not find a way to sharpen it. I tried a large hole pencil sharpener...no good...it would not sharpen it. I loved the color and the soft easy way it went on but won't buy again since you hardly get any use out of it. It's a shame because I really like it!

While these apply a good amount of color, the texture of the stick is not as creamy as the picture would lead you to believe. They work well as a liner, but not if you want to use them as an eyeshadow--it's too heavy to blend well. In addition, the edges of the "crayon" around the actual pencil are sharp. I scratched myself a couple of times. It also bugs me that in order to continue using the crayons you have to purchase Mary Kay's sharpener--these cannot be sharpened with a regular eye pencil sharpener. I purchased the Rimmel ScandalEyes crayons in a couple of different colors for much less and have been much more satisfied with those.

Not as "pigmented" as I was hoping but a nice, quick, easy smokey eye with a small hint of purple.
