Tempting Devil: An Enemies to Lovers Sports Romance (Sinners and Saints Book 2)

Devlin is the devil in high school that everyone knew to stay away from. And for some reason he just enjoyed picking on Blair. But something about their hatred for each other, just seemed to work for them. For a guy who feeds off everyone’s pain, he truly didn’t want Blair to suffer from it, if it wasn’t dealt out by him. This was a great story. I just loved the twisted journey.

One of my favorite books ever! this was such an amazing read. this is my third time reading this and i still get the same rush than i did the first time. this book makes me so happy and i love devlin and blair so much. best people. their development both individually and their relationship is one of my favorite things ever.the pace in this was so great and it just felt very natural for me, their dynamic was such a wild ride and so interesting to read.the writing was so fresh and intriguing and this is a book that will stay with me for a very very long time, can't wait to read more about them and this author!

These characters kept me wanting more and more. The sorrow and pain that blossoms into love and affection, truly amazing. Loved every word!

As it follows the second book of the series keeps me hanging on just as much as the first. I love these books so much. It just keeps you coming back.

This was such an entertaining read. I honestly didn't expect to love this book and couple as much as I did. I didn't have a lot of expectations going into this but this enemies-to-lovers bully romance was so good, I devoured it in a day.This book follows Blair, someone who is financially unstable, who gets herself into an interesting situation with the school king, Devlin. Veronica Eden throws readers right into the action so it picks up pace very quickly and wow is it intriguing.Devlin and Blair have such a twisted and epic-ly hilarious relationship. Blair is a bad bitch. She is independent and strong. She has quite the mouth on her and the way she cares for mom makes me soft and happy. Devlin is also an interesting character. I'm a sucker for sad rich boys who have real emotions behind their facade and boy did he do it for me. The chemistry between the two of them is fiery hot but Blair and Devlin are genuinely so compatible emotionally. I cried quite a few times because they are so sweet and getting to see them fall in love was magical.I loved this book, truly. Devlin and Blair hold a special place in my heart and I hope to see more of them in the next book, please. This was my first book by Veronica Eden and wow, I am so surprised and happy that I found this. I did go read the first book after this one and this book is definitely the best so far. Veronica's writing is beautiful and her characters are cute and spunky. I'm so excited for the next book! I cannot wait to read Ruthless Bishop.

Tempting Devil was so intense and so much emotional turmoil. Tempting Devil made me laugh, cry, want to yell, want to cheer Blair and Devlin. Tempting Devil had lots of ups, downs, twist, turns, things going sideways, heat, and lots of feels. Tempting Devil had my head spinning and emotions all in a whirlwind. Veronica Eden did a fantastic job with Tempting Devil. Veronica created a very emotional story and there was some very bad parts that I wish I could have slapped Blair to make her come to her sense. I have to say that Veronica was able to make certain scene seem like it could be a realty for some poor girls and how they start living a life of despair. I am so glad that things worked out. I won’t say any more so I don’t spoil the story for future readers. I think that Tempting Devil might be my favorite of the Sinners and Saints series. I have only recent started reading books by Veronica Eden and I have to say she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend Tempting Devil. Hope you will all enjoy reading Tempting Devil. Warning ⚠️ have some Kleenex on hand. 🥲🥲

Although a stand-alone book I recommend reading Wicked Saint first as you meet Devlin and Blair and will understand why Blair hates Dev so much. He bullies her and is so cruel at times that I wanted to punch him. Blair has had a tough life and does not take the bullying lying down, she decides to get her own back and it backfires on her when she is caught by Dev and becomes his pawn. Dev is so cruel to Blair at times that I am amazed she was able to stay so strong and not let him break her. Devlin’s story is truly heartbreaking and you very quickly realise that all is not as it seems with him, he wears a hard mask but underneath is a very vulnerable boy. Blair lives in a trailer with her mum and has a very hard life. What follows is a book about two people who desperately need love and find it together. It is an emotional roller coaster at times and is the best book I have read so far this year. I give it a very well deserved 5 stars and look forward to the next book in the series.

Tempting Devil is the 2nd story in the Sinners and Saint series. This one follows our Devlin and Blair. We learned alittle bit about Devlin in Wicked Saint but this one really explores more about him and let me tell you his life story is heartbreaking! Briar is a girl from the wrong side of the tracks and she gets herself into a mix of trouble with Devlin and that's where their story begins. You will fall in love with how strong Briar is. She puts up with so much from Devlin. It was amazing she didn't crack. Tempting Devil was truly amazing and Veronica hit it out of the ball park with this one. Now I'm patiently waiting for Bishop's story!!

There's only three words I can think of to describe Tempting Devil - dark, beautiful and moving. The story of Devlin and Blair blew me away and it's been a while since a book affected me like this. I found myself unable to dislike or hate Devlin despite the way he treats Blair as you could tell he was a damaged soul who was lost and needed to feel like he was in control of everything in his life. I also loved seeing Blair standing up for herself after all the abuse and bullying she'd experienced, including at the hands of Devlin who redeems himself more than once. For me, however, it has to be chapter 16 that stands out the most because it broke my heart and stayed with me throughout the rest of the book. It was such a moving moment when Devlin realises just who Blair really is and this is then weaved into other heart melting moments of the story.I discovered Veronica Eden by chance when I came across Wicked Saint and I thank the stars that I did because this series is one of the best I've read in a long time. Whilst the market feels swamped with bully romance, the Sinners and Saints series stands out and is one that readers MUST download today. Veronica Eden is a talented author who deserves more recognition and needs more confidence in her amazing work. For me, there's no doubt that this author's books will become best sellers.Connor and Thea are up next in Ruthless Bishop, which can't come soon enough! Wow I really enjoyed this book and once you dig deeper in to Devlin you see how broken he really is from the neglect of his parents.Blair is exactly what he needs and I love the relationship they build and also love Lucas & Gemma still being involved.Love where this couple have ended up and what their lives are like.On to Bishop next and I can’t wait to see their story and I think that shady teacher that Dev didn’t like is after Thea but we will see.

Loved this book really enjoyed how two people were so different yet the same.Looking forward to the next book in the series

I really enjoyed this although the female character annoyed me at times
